If you just have one position open it's not so bad... but if you have a few open, it can be a real panic.
that's the problem with online trading... another risk is your own equipment malfunctioning ie. your connection or your pc
Anyway this not the first time POEMS had problem.
Remember that sometime this year they had some problems too.
Really need to look for a backup platform to trade, cause any lost incurred will not be compensated by them.

I always thought that UPS is only just enough for you to do the backups.
UPS failed to take over.
may be the normal supply was so stable and reliable that the users neglected the UPS working state. I think.
But I thought emergency backup power is under the building and not just the tenants?
heard the building power trip.
emergency power suppose to take over but din cut in.
is time for them for them to think the redundancy system on alternate site instead of trying to save cost, otherwaise suggest to switch to other broking firm.
Pretty disappointing service for retail investors.
I have to call them to find out they are down.
fortunately I have no trade queue for today.
It could prompt customers to use other brokerage services.
I just recently started trading in Poem. But they are not reliable! Poem is down the whole afternoon today? How can an online trading site can afford to have so many hours of down time? very poor IT back up and fail over plan..I recommend people to go for alternative option.
