Gallant receives 19.46m Bintan land sales orders
GALLANT
Venture Ltd has received some $19.46 million in accumulated orders for
the sale of land in Bintan, the firm said yesterday. The sale
agreements, inked by its subsidiary PT Buana Megawisata (PT BMW),
involve Lagoi Bay Development and township projects. In all, there are
39 land plots in the orders. Gallant said the transactions are
conducted on a 'willing-buyer, willing-seller' basis, and PT BMW has
received non-refundable deposits of 10 to 20 per cent upon the signing
of the sale and purchase agreements.
The group's accounting policy is to recognise revenue when full payment
is made and the land title is transferred to the buyer. Gallant expects
the land sales to contribute positively to its earnings per share and
net tangible asset.
For the three months ended Dec 31, 2007,
Gallant reported a 58.1 per cent plunge in net income to $6.4 million,
while revenue dropped 29.3 per cent to $55 million. Its shares closed
at 67.5 cents yesterday.
I just loaded some @ 1.2 last week
any one looking at this stock? At last found the support at 1.2. And it is now taking to make another leap in this bull market...

Yes this stock doesn't look good on my chart too for now...... one or two more weeks may give better visibility on its direction going forward. My stand is, if in doubt - just stay away and park your money somewhere else where there is a higher probability of getting better returns...

Gallant most probably will trend up from here onward,RSI quite oversold,believe tis cuming weeks might trend up to 1.30 and away........
1.20 to 1.22 is a accumulation range,piosed to trigger upward.
quite clear downtrend, can take at current lowest price? thx for yr suggestion.

Two Indonesian units of Gallant Venture and the Bintan Lagoon Resort are said to be embroiled in a legal spat with another Indonesian firm that claims it owns a portion of the land on Bintan Island on which part of the resort is sited, said the Business Times citing unidentified sources.

Today's BT report Kim Eng reiterated its "buy" call with target of $1.50. Gallant operates industrial parks in Bintan and Batam. Malaysia"s Landmark Bhd is helping to develop a water resort city in Bintan.
Haven't got a clue but I'm not complaining. C'mon just go up further and make my day!!
