The news is out and 2 right share for 1 @0.02, is this a good deal as I wondering to sell or hold on to it now? I bought 50 lots at 0.02 few months back. Can someone veteran pls advise, thanks in advance!

Impact for Jasper (Rights Issue)
?
2 Rights Shares for 1 Ordinary Share at $0.02 each
?
Morton Bay?s underwriting rights issue at S$0.02 each will not result in economic dilution to minority shareholders
?
Shareholders gain valuable foothold in buoyant oil and gas sector
?
Market cap of Jasper to triple to over US$390 million with rights issue

?
Mitigate fluctuations in Company?s share price and market capitalisation in percentage terms
?
Higher price will result in reduction of transaction cost for trading
?
Increase market interest and activity in the Company
?
Diversify shareholder base and attract a core foundation of institutional investors

On JapanLand, I couldn't find their circular which would publish the financial effect on rights issue and consolidation.

Jasper has been forthfront and transparent.

The oil commodity is very much in demand-- for your reminder.

Can ask the executive director on profit margin in the EGM?

After the consolidation, the nav will be 37cents.

But we know the market can trade few times more of the value depending on the market sentiment.

To avoid complication in selling or subscribing rights, I advise retail shareholders to round up your holdings to 250, 500 lots etc, so you can avoid the hassle of odd lots.

When one hold a share of Jasper before Ex-rights (i supposed on 26th Mar), he will be given 2 rights which he has a choice to sell the rights in the market (between the rights trading days)  or subscribe the rights into rights shares (which will be trading on i supposed 25 April on the consolidated basis together with the original shares). Do not forget one has to pay 2c/right for subscription into rights shares via ATM (convenient).

On the 1st day(25April) of trading of the consolidated shares, the price should be trading at around 37c according to the new NAV.

Then again having set (For Info sharing) EG: no-1 and also EG: no-2

EG 1: 10,000 existing shares stand, offer 20,000 right at 0.020 cent, if taken up after consolidated. Effective trading will be 1,200 consolidated shares. Of course trading price will also change.

If not taken up the offer (do not subscribe) 10,000 existing shares, 400 shares will be consolidated

Don't quite understand this, will one share holder require to pay for those right ?. If one is holding 10,000 shares, share holder is entitle to 20,000 shares, then it is convert to 25 for 1. that mean with 30,000 shares, 30,000 is convert to 1,200 shares.

(If.  i am wrong, pls correct me)The Right Shares are payable in full upon acceptance of the provisional allotments of the Right Shares and/or application for the Excess Right Shares

And there is no dilution after the consolidation exercise. Your value per share has increased from 0.56 cents to 1.519cents (before consolidation), then to 37.969cents (after consolidation).-page 19

Ashmore is a major shareholder so the stock is trading CR ahead of the EGM without the minor shareholders nod.

I think there is optimism in the stock.

Anyone taking up the offer? A way to maintain your proportionate holdings in this promising company. Ashmore is already having the Ace card, so if do not accept, our stake may be dilluted further.
