"Remaining fiscal year '08 will continue to be challenging due to current macro economic environments in the UK and U.S. and also potential gross profit margin pressure from rising gold prices," Credit Suisse analyst Clarice Khoo said in a research note.

Don't think today's movement is due to the liquidation of London Diamond.

No sugestion to this counter.  Here is the news

Gems TV Holdings Limited (?Gems TV?) wishes to announce that its 100% indirectly owned

subsidiary, London Diamond Company Limited, in the United Kingdom (?London Diamond?) which

was placed under members? voluntary liquidation, has been dissolved. London Diamond was

dormant since 10 June 2005.

The voluntary liquidation of London Diamond would not have any material impact on the net

tangible assets or earnings per share of Gems TV for the financial year ending 30 June 2008.

on the chart it looks fine and temporary uptrend...currently at the upper bollinger bands...however it is certainly not a gentle ride upwards...it will be always safer to see it go up gradually in smaller steps

The report that priced Gems at 1.32 expected sales of 140m and 'net profits' of 8.6m.

The company reported 159m sales and 'net profits after tax' of 7.6m (all FY07 numbers).

So it looks like it beat one estimate but didn't meet the other. Of course, that's assuming I understood the reports right.

Oh well, at lest U.S. did well on Friday, so expect Gems to open higher - like everyone else, I expect. But from there, it's anyone's guess. On your toes, everyone, and good luck to us all.
