Isn't that great esp for those like me wanting to get this high div yield stock again? Lets watch and time this entry as best as we can. :)
M1 may be on TA downtrend. Be cautious.
Lets hope so. My M1 basket has been empty for quite a while now.
Since 20 Dec when it when went on a upward rampage, the only time it landed pass 2.15 (to 2.14) is on the 29th Dec. Other times, it has always been 2.15
ADX showing neutral trend but oscillator is reversing from oversold. If it stays at 2.15 during afternoon trade, I may just take it as a signal to buy for momentum trade.
Hi Kilroy,
I think M1 is still on a downtrend. Will probably drop tommorow. Its TA charts look really bad.

Philip TP px coming.....M1 down sizing, it $$$ oso seem down sizing.. unless it comeup with more innovative products, seem losing it shine to *hub and Singtel. Just my tot.
One of your fav stock huh? Looking to buy some when it reversed? :)
Caution... looks to be on steep TA downtrend now. Sell down today is quite large.
Downtrend resumed after previous day consolidation. We have just entered into oversold condition now but ADX is not showing sign of increasing downward strength as yet. Closed at 2.15 support. Next support at 2.07. :)
On a downtrend now
High Dividend yield stock worth a punt. Failing to overcome the 2.31 resistance. Price has gapped down and dropped back towards the lower end range of 2.15. CCI shows a possible push below 2.15.
M1 proposes capital reduction to return about S$221.6 million to shareholders
Based on the Group?s results for FY2006 on a proforma basis, the proposed capital reduction would have the effect of improving return on equity from 38.9% to 51.5% and earnings per share from 16.6 cents to 18.3 cents.

Wow... Look at M1 go !
What's happening?
What's happening?
I believe M1 is on an uptrend. The fall today is probably due to profit taking. Check out the low volumes.. the selling is not sustainable.

M1 still falling... now at Phillps' target price
Phillip Securities has cut its target price to $2.06 from $2.10 in view of the poor prospects for the company's earnings. The brokerage noted that M1 has lowered its net profit guidance for this year, the company now saying that this year's net profit is expected to similar to last year's, having previously said it expected single-digit growth.
"We are less optimistic than the management, in terms of outlook," Phillip Securities said in a note.
Phillip Securities has lowered its estimates of M1's net profit for this year by 3.7% to $158 mln and for next year by 3.2% to $152 mln, in the belief that revenue from its cellphone and international call services will continue to trend downwards.
M1 just broke through the bottom line of the Bollinger band. Its on a strong downtrend now.
Still downtrending today.... keep clear
well m1 last time is big becoz of its strong alliance with nokia and also it marketing strategy for the young and hip. also its cust svc is top class. look what happen now. cust svc sliding, hipness sliding, pricing not sliding.. of coz bye bye lah. personally, i dun favour m1 over other telco as it is the smallest telco among the 3, thou starhub signal sux, i am stuck with it due to the enticing recontract plans and hub club benefit.
Smart deduction, I strongly agreed, I am also waiting for my M1 contract to expire and switch when the number can be fully portability ! Because they hardly have much promotion for existing customers.
Agree with Merril Lynch... going south now.
I think with FULL number portability, the mobile company that will benefit most will be Starhub. It currently has the most attractive plans and cheapest phones, I think. At least, thats the general public perception.
M1 and Singtel are losing local market share to Starhub.
