bulls usually last for a month or more. this bull should last till next year.. good luck. my suggestion is dun cash out now. maybe year end than cash out..
Rickytan, if your UTs were bought during the down market, check out your P&L with your agent. Market is up now, you may wish to cash out your UTs if there's some profit.
But after you have sold your UTs, don't rush into the stock market too fast ya - cos its toppish now. Wait for good opportunities to go in again. Timing is crucial .... trade with care ya.
UTs i does own but holding less than 10k total for asia pacific, chian and global resources funds. almost 95% of my growth is from stocks rather than UTs.
Hi cashiertan, I am impressed that your cpf can grow so much in your 2 years of trading. The other guy that you mentioned is also very fantastic. I am amazed. I am happy so long as my investment can have return that is more than the CPF interest rate. I think I have to seriously consider selling my unit trusts which is not making the kind of returns projected (after holding for so many years and I keep telling myself that it is for long long term). Hope to continue to learn from you.

i have no much experience in tech stocks but from indexs history, tech stock ususally do well in end year from sales and spendings. good luck
I am into tech stocks as they are volatile and exciting - vested in CSM & StatschP on long term. Used to vested in Creative & Venture.
Tech stocks are quiet and not doing well now. But with Christmas season coming, shiok time! And be ready to get out fast.
Btw, CSM very speculative .... But for long term, it should fair well.
dear all,
i dun have preference on shares but i buy what i am comfortable in, as my funds is limited, i can ill afford to hold more than 5 counters at 1 time else my money will be too diluted.
as for my roi, i didnt have a habit to keep track thus i think i should start to have one now since u asked abt it. All i can say for my roi is that for the past 2 years+, i fully used my 35% allowance to grow my cpf from 35k to 70k, of which 15k are from job contributions. i did not do as spectatcular as one forumer who manage to grow his 50k to 800+k in 5 years.
i used (this year) to hold chinalife, hongguo, metro, k1 venture(rebought again recently), food junction and osim.
earlier ones cant remember liao coz too many counters traded.
Hi Cashiertan, sorry missed out your lst posting on EZRA. Thank you for sharing. Good luck !

ASL Marine, K1, Metro, China Essence, Gent Intl, Semd Kimtrans and Seksun.
Hey cashiertan,
I see you're into the relatively cheaper counters. usually buy stocks > $1.5 only.
What's your rate of return on those counters?

I thought you are also holding EZRA and is laughing your way to the bank...... By the way, I wish verteran and gurus like Nostramudus, Singaporegal, Billywow, teeth53, allantanhc, savysamyeo etc can also let us know (from time to time perhaps) the stock that they are vested for our information and reference.... hehehe.... dreaming....
