CSE awarded S$108m contract!!!
CSE-Servelec Limited has completed contract negotiations with BT, the Local Service Provider for London, to be its strategic partner to provide the RiO Care Record System to the Mental Health Trusts, Community Health Trusts and Child Health Trust ("Trusts") across London as part of the National Programme for IT implemented by National Health Services Connecting for Health.
BT will purchase software and services amounting to ₤36 million (S$108.0 million) from CSE-Servelec. This is in addition to the contract of ₤10 million (S$31.0 million) awarded on 26 December 2005 as an interim solution to meet the immediate business needs of the Trusts.
The project will be implemented over 4 years, with a maintenance contract continuing to 2014.
The project will have a positive impact on CSE Global Limited's profits for 2007 and subsequent financial years.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of CSE has any interest, direct or indirect, in the contract.
This change from interim to strategic partnership with BT is subject to further negotiation with and approval by, the NHS; Connecting for Health, which is anticipated to complete in December 2006.

Boosting headcount ? CSE is boosting its engineering headcount in the UK and
has started work on the UK healthcare system (S$100m). We would not be
surprised by a contract win considering that NHS CEO, David Nicholson, made
comments in July indicating that CSE software would be deployed. We think work
could complete in 3-4 years and include 8% p.a. maintenance revenue.
