It really depends on what the Lippo Group is planning to do with the company. Although it is good to see fresh blood/ideas taking over the management but if there is still no good news from them, then the price may still dip further.
The drop is due to the poor handling of the taking over of management recently but fundamentally, this company is still sound.

Despite the resignation of all of its independent directors, is this still a good counter to enter at the current low price 5.30 given that Robinson is a fundamentally sound company?
I imagine anyone who get invited to be independent director will gladly accept the offer for a 'strong' company like this. No?
Wah... top loser today on XD.
It seems to me the robinson trading volume is very small. Will people contra (short sell robinson share before XD) . Example at $7 and then buy back after XD. That means he will earn $1.24 per share is that right if the share reflects after dividend is payout is true.
My observation of counters that have announced generous div payout is that share price will very quickly reflect this. However, the upward trend of the share price will only reach its peak after the final div is approved by shareholders during the AGM on 17 Oct and before xd.
After xd, price will readjust to reflect div payout....i.e. donwn by about $1.24and then, if there are no further compelling good news about the company, and if market sentiment is not bouyant, price will trend down even further.
Just my personnal observation.
Thank You rsua88,

Hi ,
Can Anyone tell me what is the ex-date for Robinson. Got problem finding it. Thank
Benny
According to Straits Times and several brokerages pay-out of $ 1.24 is confirmed. Usually the stock will drop by approx. same amount on the day the dividend is paid).
Are you sure? The pay-out dividend of S$1.24 per share will amount to S$1,240 per lot. That is alot of monies to be given out for dividend. So will the share price drop once confirm of the ex-dividend? Can anyone tell me?
Thank you
Fr Teddy
$ 1.24 comprising $0.24 regular dividend and $ 1.00 special pau-out. That's probably reason why share price up 16% today.
Can anyone out there tell me what is the pay-out of the dividend for Robinson's share? It is still not posted online yet.
Thank you
Fr Teddy
