Singapore [January 22, 2007], ? Hyflux Ltd (?Hyflux?) today announced two joint
venture agreements and several licences with Marmon Water LLC (?Marmon Water?),
one of the world?s largest manufacturers of residential and commercial water treatment
systems.
Ms. Olivia Lum, Group CEO & President of Hyflux Ltd, and Mr. John J. Goody,
President of Marmon Water LLC, signed the agreements today in Singapore. The
signing was witnessed by Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State, Trade & Industry.
Ms. Lum and Mr. Goody described the partnership as an exceptional geographical and
technical fit between both companies.
?This is an exciting development for Hyflux. Together we will develop new products to
provide clean, filtered and softened water for Asian homes,? said Ms. Lum.
?Additionally, these initiatives will allow Hyflux to expand our industrial filtration product
range in Asia and allow Marmon to sell our membranes in North America, a market we

very hard to judge, remember last time hyflux profit was drop around 80%? the stake drop from 2.70 to 2.20 within week time... I scare the history will be resumed again... let's see how later...
