Exactly. As I said earlier, those bought at 2.xx - 3.xx will not be selling at 1.90.

At this $1.875 dont think they can get a 90% control over this counter coz the offering price its not attractive...So far I'm not worry about delisting. For these few days, if you do the calculation,  they can only manage to get 56% out of 45%, mean 11% of the stock are bought below $1.90...and 44% of the shareholders are holding above $1.90...they still need 34% to get hold of the company

To me this 34% rate is consider high to be able to bring this company off from the STX, therefore I too not selling....

There may be a possibility of a second announcement to offer high bid in order to get the rest of the 34%....Why not?

looking at the trading platform there are 13million sold (high chance to PTT) n 298K bought @1.88 (could this be sotong purchase? cos the shares are valued exclu dividend!)

so looking at the figure PTT also working hard at buying from open mkt.

seller should not have sold at open mkt dont y ppl doing this.

So far only manage to accumulate 56% and still quite a distance from the 90%. Those who buy at high px 2.xx-3xx will suffer a huge loss. Who will be willing to sell at such a loss?

how many guys have sold yours?

based on today's announcement, so far they got around 56% of total number shares.

if they own more then 90% they have a choice of delist or not.

if they dont delist, unlikely, then everything ok but funny hor only 10% free float in the mkt exchanging hands.   then the price will be like those sleeping stock lor no up no down.

if they do n u still din sell to them, then SGX wash hand. all future transaction or dividend payout will be solely between u n the Big BOY.   and there wont be a clear price tagged to ur holding, it means how much ur share value....em....nobody knows.

If we don't sell this stock at open market, Will PT force us to sell to them?

Does it mean this stock will delist from SGX?

So far , any news? anybody know?

I have not sold my one, I feel it is under value.

if its' offer is 3$, I maybe sell it to them.

another question is that if they own 85%, rest is still in the market, how its price will go? will always higher than their offer price? or stop at current price 1.875? that is quite funny.

They could only delist it  if there is less than 10% of the share with the public. This will only be known after the close of the offer, depending how many willing to sell to them.

..................................................................

Odisha halts operations at six Coal India mines

By Jatindra Dash

BHUBANESWAR, India (Reuters) - Authorities in Odisha halted operations at six mines of Coal India (NSI:COALINDIA.NS - News), the world's largest coal miner, after its environmental clearances expired, a senior government official said on Sunday.

Any production disruption at state-run Coal India, which has repeatedly fallen short of supply targets, would mean higher dependence on imports as Asia's third-largest economy struggles to meet domestic demand.

Coal accounts for 66 percent of India's thermal power generation, the cheapest source of electricity in the country, which sits on the world's fifth-largest coal reserves.

Operations were halted on Saturday at Coal India's Lajkura open caste mine and the Orient group of mines at Ib-valley Coal fields in Jharsuguda district, that belong to Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL), an unit of Coal India.

" They do not have the forest clearances. The mines will remain shut until they get the approval," Odisha's director of mines Deepak Kumar Mohanty told Reuters.

State authorities asked the unit to halt operations earlier this year but the mines were given a temporary reprieve by the Supreme Court, Mohanty said.

The concession period has expired and the company has been told to shut the operations, he said.

" We have already submitted the application and completed all the formalities," A.K. Singh, technical and project director at MCL told Reuters.

The MCL unit expects to produce about 112 million tonnes in the current financial year. In 2011/12, it produced about 104 million tonnes.

The mines whose operations were suspended were producing about 3 per cent of MCL's daily output of 300,000 tonnes, he said.

Coal India is expected to supply 470 million tonnes in the current fiscal year to end-March 2013, compared with India's total estimated supply of 580 million tonnes.

That supply is seen falling short of demand by 192 million tonnes, the coal ministry has said.

Even bought below $1.90 also not selling unless the offer become mandatory takeover. Would have sold when it was $3.20 not too long ago.

Throw the proposal to rubbish bin unless you bought below $1.90....Not to forget its not $1.90, its $1.875 coz you need to deduct off the 2c div.

I am also vested in this.  As I never encountered such takeover offer by a major shareholder, anyone know what are the possible outcomes?
