basically rws wants the bond holders to convert to shares at 95 cents even though the bonds expire in 2012... why ? probably rws needs to conserve cash to save on payout..
What is this convertible bond about? Anyone?

Latest News, Genting's RWS is getting its casino license in February and casino will be in operation latest by March. That means income will start flowing in soon. To have sufficient cash flow for the casino operation thus Genting converted the bond into shares.
I think there is going to be another round of huge spike upwards in the share price soon if news proven to be true.

BonBon, I cut loss at 1.11, then go out for shopping but had to limit my spending because of genting. I come back, i see this forum, I SHOCKED LOR......dropped like shit.
i queued so hard this morning from 1.14 to 1.13 to 1.12 then finally sold at 1.11 after lunch.....10 lots, lost $1000+....so now cannot do shopping in HK, can only enjoy the cold air here......sigh....
Macau so near yet cannot go......

This two days, win or loss had oredi appear to made temperature goes berserk, alot is following the crowd (big or small - all oso eaten up play with a falling knife and made many get easy-ly hot, bad temper, some very stressful liao, hope there's a better tomorro, then again two more days, oredi to Friday, then is there many 1 2 buy on Friday or not ?.

Purelotus. U R indeed lucky, meanwhile smarttrader is recommending a buy once it hit $1, it is like try to make a cent and try not to loss 2cents. tag of war at 1.00 to 1.01ct, drop to 0.99ct, then back to $1.01, just my guess ONLY hohh....

i seriously thought mid feb early march they will pull these shit on us but wah lau came hard and strong hor....and too early. premature baby wah lau. i thought by early feb sell everything i dun wanna keep and just keep healthway and hit healthway but wah lau....cross my mind if super sway will happen in Jan but thought ermmm impossible...guess nothing is impossible. worst case scenario.

I'm serious... Tis corrections hv cos alot of pple loss alot of monies. All my friends dat I noe all kena burn badly. Although I hv signal them, even myself oso kena burn. Corrections were arrived v v fast dat r not expected.

All penny stocks? Guess you have earned good profits in the past months...treat it as you donate a bit back to the market...an act of charity. Even remisers lost money over the past few days...not to mention mass market investors. Not to worry, there will be a crazy buy up again...BBs are also stucked.
I consider very lucky. I sold 50% of genting stock few weeks back at 1.25 if i not wrong.
Then sell again 50% of genting stock at 1.24 last week after seeing it fall from 1.32 high.
Today sell all remaining at 1.03% after seeing it falling like water.
Still make some profit in Genting stock.
