Even disregarding whether Genting SP will open its casino for CNY
we think there is already too much undue investor optimism for its
Singapore casino. Genting SP now trade at 14X 2011E EV/BITDA, which
is the second most expensive globally vs. sector average of 8X and we see
significant de-rating risk, especially as gaming revenues such as VIP disappoint.
As we approach the casino opening, we highlight that past Macau gaming
shares have typically not performed well post the casino openings - four out
of six Macau shares fell post opening, and on a relative basis, five out of the six
underperformed their respective markets. We maintain our SELL rating/target
price and keep the stock on our Conviction List.
Most of the counters go up except genting sp.... seems like keeping accumulate the stocks and the next rally may be very BIG....
