In my opinion BBs mean:- big boys, like the financial institutions,
fund managers, brokers,( like dealers & remisers ) acting for big
clients, etc,etc, those who trade very big lot. Some can even
influence the share px movements.

New to stocks and forum here and so I am going to ask 1 noob question. Please be patient with me lol.
In point #3 the abbreviations of BBs means what? Everytime see BB here BB there but I have no idea what it is.
BB = ? (Big Buyers?)

I don't think anybody is willing to sell their shares below $1 especially after the casino is opened. Since the opening of casino has been postponed for sometime, people who stayed with counter shall have some cash funds and allow them to keep their shares even in longer term. So I will consider price at current level is low enough for us to buy at this stage. Anywhere, this is individual opinion and let's bet to see who will be the lucky guy  Good luck.

Analysts said that while the ideal situation is for both the casino and theme park to open at the same time to capitalise on the CNY holidays, RWS can still expect to reap dividends from opening the casino first.
Chesterton Suntec International head of research and consultancy, Mr Colin Tan, said: "To hold back the casino means they lose money, so it's better to open as early as possible to start earning money.
"Chinese New Year is the best time to open. That's when they get the most publicity. It is also nice to start the New Year with a casino."
But with the weekend inching closer and no firm date for the casino opening announced, it may now be too late for tourists to fly in to gamble at the RWS casino.
Travel agents told MediaCorp that flights to Singapore over the weekend were full. While there are still hotel rooms available in the city, hotels in Sentosa are fully booked for the weekend.

Buying a share is like buying a property. You won't know when exactly is the high or low but common sense will certainly guide you to know that the price is pretty beaten down or when it has risen over exuberantly. Then, there are also so many other external factors like global share movement, global impactful economic news like Greece imbalanced account, etc, which no one could predict. The trouble is when the price is so beaten down like last year's property prices, not many dare venture in and then it shot up so quickly beyond anyone's expectations. Likewise, when the price is so good, people expect it to go on and on like before the market crash. This just proves that no one knows the short term price fluctuations and it is best to use a long term judgment to ask yourself what you think the price of GS will be in 2-3 years time? You can wait and see if luck is on your side or you can say that for a possible 10% or maybe 20% price drop (who knows?), you are just going to put down some money to lock in an investment you believe will give you far more than this downside risk in the longer term. No wonder Warren Buffett makes his kind of money....
You said that by Feb. 2010, the TP is $1.60 - $2.00
Base on what methodology do you arrive at this numbers???
Or is it purely SPECULATION????????

I have sold all my genting sp shares before when everyone panic to buy with price broke the level of 1.30. However, after the shares price has dropped to 1.07 and flat for almost 2 weeks, I will say it is chance to get in and can feel the potential of next rally...

Many forumers shouting about openings. Pl don't trick Uncles &
Aunties into believing that the openings will have an impact
on the share px. A very good example is this seamstress auntie
asking me to buy at $1.25, saying that the share px will SURELY
GO UP when it opens. I will only buy and sell on my own judgement.

I believe to date...investors here already know the main attraction is not from USS but Casino...and what's more...it says 'sources'...who are these people? are they trying to inject some fear for aunties and uncles to sell their shares low so they can swoop up at a real good deal? im holding on... :)

Was having dinner last nite with a group of colleagues and everyone is excited about the universal studio and casino. I am not sure if the $100 ruling applies to those on employment pass or PR.But I agree with risktaker, it is viewed as a place for the entire family. On the other hand, with Marina Sands opening in 2010, I feel that the general sentiment is not as hype as Genting as it's more for business/ convention and not for family (the key selling point). Anyway, I am vested as I believe in the long term potential of Genting. Look at Mr Lim's fengshui cemetery. How can things be bad for his descendants.

Earning expectation ?. when it happen, it not to late to announce. Why now it is always mentioned.
BBs accumulate more and more, does it mean BBs don sell and sell, just not a nomal practice. it shares price will have to reflex it values.
