As you know leh, so many ppl is after this stock to get big profit.
Just like all man also wan to get Megan Fox.
Do you think Megan Fox will go with u if u just give her a flower? All man also know how to do this. This is too simple.
Only the most tricky man can get her.
If you think the Genting stock will go up, just because of getting license, open the door for business, this is too simple.
Those tricky/clever investor get it before you.
Said liao, must learn to survive.
This world is very cruel and tricky when it involve $$$.

Good Day all

Genting has already announced they will be opening its casino this Sunday and Universal theme park is expected to follow soon afterwards. Genting has therefore played its last "hype" card.
From now on, all eyes will be on their bottom line P&L in the next few financial quarters.. They better bring in the bacon. Otherwise, even their most fervent and die-hard investor will lose faith and start to dump their shares.
I take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy & Prosperous Year Of The Tiger!

The IRs are created in line with singapore government's goal i.e. MICE - Meetings, Incentive,,Convention, Exhibition. Our Government's aim is not to 'Earn money' from Casino operations but, we are looking at Integrated resort with the MICE elements in it. So, Marina or Sentosa could meet up with the expectation of our Singapore Government.? My bet is, MARINA IR.
Marina IR is managed by LV Sands Corp which is very experience in the expertise of hotel business, gaming, resort and exhibition/convention that meet what our singapore government's goal MICE. They have more advantage over Sentosa genting which is i feel, more Casino-oriented.
LV Sands's unparalleled credentials and long-standing relationships in the Meetings, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition business with leading meeting and convention organizers empower us with the ability to produce a steady and predictable flow of visitors to Singapore.
We will probably be seeing a "HUGE World-Class Convention / conference Hall' that may house 1000 tables" in Singapore manage by Sands.
:)

But they are not so stupid as that.
They will know you didn't come in a Rolls Royce, so how can you be a high roller?
Anyway, they will accept anyone who can afford to lose...

Wear your tuxedo and march in.
They think that the king of gambling is here.
Follow by high rollers.
All the staff will bow and bow to you

DJ MARKET TALK: Time Ripe To Exit Genting Singapore - Dealer
0628 GMT [Dow Jones] News of Genting Singapore's (G13.SG) casino opening on Feb. 14 pushing share price higher. Stock +2.8% at S$1.10 vs S$1.09 at midday. But number of analysts have cautioned price likely to correct when casino begins operations, citing pullback in gaming stocks of operators in other markets when their casinos opened for business. "I think it's time to sell out because there's nothing much to drive interest from here on. Investors will be waiting to see whether the casino will live up to its hype," says dealer at bank-backed brokerage. With casino opening announced (Feb. 14), attention will shift to Resort World Sentosa's next major attraction Universal Studios theme park, which Genting says remains on track to open in 1Q10. Near-term resistance at this month's high of S$1.18, support at this year's low of S$1.02 set in January. (FKH) |
