I sold when I realized it's on a 20 50 MA downtrend. Shocked that I didn't check when I first bought it. Had since move on to another counter. Check my posts and you should know which one.

Hi Pnuklis...........Italians bought a big block at 1.32????? can conform ????

but if follow SGX rules they canot buy at open market after announcement.

if like that better ask italian go rob bank liao........

Italians bought STX shares at 1.22 and they recently bought a big block at 1.32. It looks like they are aiming to reach that threshold to sqeez out the remaining around this price of 1.32 which is heavily discounted price. This dose not sound good for shall holders.

I'm not vested in stx osv, but i'd urge all retail investors to work together to veto the sale to the italian shipyard at a lelong price 1.22.

When is the EGM? must go and veto. Those who cant go should send a  proxy. Selling at 1.22 is a NO DEAL!!!

i view this as positive as they may up the offer price if they  need to secure  90% .

Recent price action from the beginning of the year is designed to force-out the retail players. More evident from the beginning of this week.

Ha no choice lah, I'm current around 15% at loss right now on this counter.

Rather hold and hold than to realise a loss :p

Peter_Pan      ( Date: 09-Jan-2013 21:19) Posted:

No panic sellers, only panic buyers. All technicals signal strong reversal. Price action is designed to flush-out the weak holders. Are you brave enough to ride out this wave?

brenocav      ( Date: 09-Jan-2013 21:07) Posted:

I def. hope you are right Peter!!

I keep seeing TP's of ~$2...wondering when it will materialize. What is the dividend situation looking like for this counter?
