looking at the individual trades..from morning somebody has been dumping big lots 1K, 2K, 3K..
very huge volume today..
big down bar on large vol..does not bode well for genting..
must be those gamblers sleeping outside the casino.. give genting a bad name.. keke

I just gone RWS in the morning leh. Lesser visitors, YES but still consider pack. There are about 200 tables and all are full with at about 20pax per table.
200tables X 20pax = 4000gamblers at the tables (This exclude those walking around like me)
4000gamblers X $50 bet = $200,000 per hand
$200,000 X 53%(House Advantage) = $106,000 profit per hand
1 hour can has about 60 hand so you go calculate RWS gross profit. A casino operating cost is about 20% to 30% of its gross profit. The rest is net profit. So one can go think himself how profitable is casino business. What is illustrated above is just what i seen earlier. If it is packed, the profit is alot more.
About a month ago i said in this forum RWS going to receive CRA casino license between 5th Feb to 7th Feb, no one believe. Now Casino opens liao. Time flies leh...
Looking at the turnout at RWS past few days and current RWS monopoly in Singapore, RWS is going to make decent profit for the next 2 months without contest for gamblers from MBS. And these factors shall reflect in the share price soon. I remember 2 months ago, alot of analyst rate Genting SP as sell. Now they re-rate it to hold. My question is when they rate it to sell, the market push down the share price, their institutions come into the market and buy them cheap, than re-rate them as hold. Can these analyst be trusted? the answer is no.
Common sense tells us, Genting (RWS) currently has a short term monopoly in this gambling business in Singapore, these monopoly will convert to profit. Although its just 2 months but the $2000 levy will lock up existing clients with RWS for a year. When you already committed $2000, you will make best use of it. Thus, RWS future is bright, at least for the next 1 year.
visitorship to Sentosa will fall sharply after CNY, then the price will fall below $1!
