interesting day...small players (less than 5lots) are selling down at 1.01 while the rest are buying up at 1.02 ...shows the exits of weak holders and entrance of BBs...right?

I agree all are great tips...

But the biggest problem is which choice to make...

It still boils down to one's bias...

I know some of you who have brought Genting at a high is probability worrying.

Wondering if you should Sell, Buy or Hold? I was in this situation before, but not with Genting.

Here is my analysis and suggestion. I hope I can give you a clearer picture.

1. Genting is current below SMA (30) which means that it's in a Bearlish sentiment and it's going to stay here for a while.

2. This is probability due to the big players heavy selling and taking profits after the opening of the casino.

3. Because of this heavy selling, its RSI has fallen to currently 32.2. This indicates that this stock is at its most Bearlish moment, but it is also very close to the RSI 30 mark, an indication of oversold.

4. Which means that after falling below the RSI 30, this stock will most likely re-bound strongly.

You have 2 options.

1. Cut Loss now and Buy Back after it falls below RSI 30.

2. Hold now and Average Out after it falls below RSI 30.

After you buy the stock below RSI 30, set a 7% cut loss point. If the price falls below your cut loss point, you must sell no matter what. This is to preserve your capital from a lost cause.

If the stock re-bounded, you must monitor the price closely, and once you break-even, I suggest you sell and takes profits.

Please note that my suggestion of Buying Below RSI 30 is for people who are already holding Genting stock. Buying below RSI 30 is a risk and unless you are already in a negative position, I don't suggest you take this risk.

This is not a strategy for people who are not holding any Genting stocks and thinking of buying cheap. But, if you are a risk taker, you may want to try. As for me, unless I have to, or else I won't take this risk.

Yap..agree w/U. (BBs vs BBs tag of war) then all hell break loose, will it drop cheaper and deeper tmr or not ??. Humm, very interesting.

Closing note; Plenty of willing seller/willing buyers, (likely going back as penny counter liao tmr).

Maybe BBs lost big at d casino n got to make back from Gent SP, Gent SP lost -4ct to $1.02 on Vol: 219,217,000 shr traded (sold down)

Time Last Volume Bid/Ask
17:05:03 1.020 2,675,000 B
17:05:02 1.020 5,614,000 B
17:05:02 1.020 6,280,000 B

Thanks Smart-Trader for your correction... Is retail , you are right.. :) As mentioned, bad english but am good with only numbers..haa..

And thanks for your compliment on the China Milk purchase last year... As mentioned previously in this forum , I am a short-term and mid-term trader but only would look at long term if the stock got potentials.

There is what happened to the instiutional investor like us losing the battle with BBs. What I can say is one thing is holding power and if the market can go uptrend after a downtrend by looking at the TA.. What I can say is when BB dump at certain price, the individual investors will pick up, and when individual investors can't hold it and decided to cut loss, BBs will take advantage.

And also got to remember one thing, in between BBs , there are also diff group fighting to keep the price up or down, that's why sometimes you will see what you called "Doji" on the trading charts.. when indecisive is happening on one stock.

I hope you understand my english :) but in terms of stock trading, i hope i can give a little advise here to help to gain as much as we can on SGX stocks and reap profit in the process.

You missed my point.

I trade only technically, thus I am anticipating a further fall.

I bought only "ngo jap liap"(50 lots)...

I don't look at numbers, I look only at the action as depicted in the chart...

My charts show a precariously dicey position, thus I dumped all...

Not a sure-fire position, but where got surefire thing?...
