Was it stated OZ sold to Fincantier?  If Fincantier bought more from OZ, that means their GO must be at the highest price they acquired, which should be 1.351.

So I really doubt OZ sold to Fincantier.  More likely sold to retailers and share price may collapse to 1.22 soon.

OZ Parties has been selling their STX OSV shares to the Fincantier (Italian Party) over the last few days. Extract from SGX Disclosure news as following:

1) On 3/1/13 sold 386 lots @ $1.3226 per share

2) On 8/1/13 sold 4.924 million  lots @ $1.348 per share

3) On 9/1/13 sold 1.289 million lots @$1.345 per share

4)  On 11/1/13 sold 1.024 million lots @$1.351 per share

5) On 14/1/13 sold 30 million lots @ $1.315 per share (?????) Is this a sign of more selling at lower price?

According to today news under SGX Disclosure news, the OZ Parties following the sale transaction on the 14/1/13, owns approx 8.94% of the the total SOP Shares. Would grateful appreciate somesome could share some insights/views/comment pertaining to the above.

Another issue is I tot if Fibcantier bot at 1.33 level then at GO they hv to declare and then the GO will be offered at that higher price and not at 1.22!!

If u look at Sc Global case there is a report in the public float.. How can we find this out for STX OSV.. Cos if the free float falls below 10% then the Italian group can force a GO at 1.22... But it seems highly unlikely..

i'm still vested in this stock and believe  it will rebound, think a TP of 1.70 is more realistic than than the analysts 2.00 or Peter's 1.55 is a good near term target.

GO of $1.22 will not be successful, that's for sure. but what happen next is unpredictable...

will there be better offer.... will dividend remain attractive etc

Fincanteri has the first 3 months of 2013 to complete the purchase of the 50.75% stake. Any GO to shareholders would only take place after that. Probably see only some major price movement closer to Mar...

I see. Actually got alot of courses available. Some are even free. Basically, You need to understand what you are buying. So financial statements and stuff like that. Looking at charts also very
Important. The most basic and important indicator to look at is the moving average which tells you whether the stock is on downtrend or uptrend. Nv buy a stock on downtrend, coz it means the stock can go even lower.

Alot of things involved. Not easy to teach here. Will be glad to share more if i got the time

any reason why no momentum?

heard that the free float for STX OSV is around 37% consisting of about 7000 shareholders which means 1. the risk of the free float falling below 10% is quite low and 2. Fincantieri will have to acquire an additional of at least 27% shares for STX to delist which will be a tough move if the offer price is $1.22

Unless my info above is wrong, i see no reason why we should not stock up.
