Dale's methods works when times are good, ugly when times are bad. Those CEO's kana asked to leave belongs here.

Unless ur caharcter is born to suit his method, else most is better off following highly effective method.

thus after reading stephen covey's method. i think long run character will win. Those legendary good CEO belongs here.

Dale method is behaviour control

Covey method is character cultivation

Actually, you don't really need to read Dale Carnegie or Jane Seymore...

All you need is to be able to hand out great stock tips...

Then your popularity is guaranteed!... Smiley

used to like his books alot and practise it with good result.

however after reading 7 habits of highly effective ppl, i think i suit the latter better.

Acting and character, i choose character anytime. find acting tiring for long run, not my cup of tea. lol

yawn.... thought this is a useful read from today's msn ...applicable not only for work place but also in general ....
http://msn.careerbuilder.com/custom/msn/careeradvice/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=1202&SiteId=cbmsnhp41202&sc_extcmp=JS_1202_home&GT1=10563&cbRecursionCnt=1&cbsid=521c033c2c454bdabf55917eb7086f9b-250086071-WR-2
Use neutral language. .... Avoid judgmental remarks or sweeping generalizations, such as, "You always turn your reports in late." Use calm, neutral language to describe what is bothering you. For example: "I get very frustrated when I can't access your reports because it causes us to miss our deadlines." Be respectful and sincere, never sarcastic, Menack suggests.
