Hi Bintang,

I fully agree with your point of view.

By the way, do u have a UOBKH trading account, can use their free "Interactive chart" by chartNexus.

To see the current day candle, I use DBSV.

Sorry for  posting  that lousy chart ! Regarding China Hongx ,  this is only my points  of view , no matter  either way it may go from now  , based  on its FA , this counter sure to go up fiercely after the correction . Now it is forming the base and the  share price is instability . As compare to the peak, it's still a long journey to go up  . For those short term investors , of course they feel bad when seeing the retreat , but for the long term investors , they may be happy to go bargain hunting . Forumers could make use of this correction period or rather time before the bull run to learn more from others and get prepare for the coming bull market , do not waste time in argument , this is the aim in joining this forum .

U are most welcome but remember dun be to eager-beaver to jump itnto a "shark-infested, merciless killing field" where only the knowledgeable tends to survive n never be a gullible guinea pig to those insidous postings tat incite greed, fear, rumours n tips.

Remember my advice by heart as I m battle-scared n sharing with u my real-life nightmarish, miserable experience of being victims to those emotional postings, tips, rumours which fortunately wakes me up to realise my folly tat "nobody owes me a living" n they dun pay u for your losses n tat I need to learn the ropes of the trade to survive.

Hi sandmark,

U are most welcome but my genuine advice to u is trading must not be by gambling nor by gut feeling, u need to do homework, thus why the term "dyodd" which means "do your own due diligence" (homework).

TA means "Technical Analysis", if u are serious about making money thru trading,  never repeat my past horrendous mistakes of listening to tips, rumours n wild calls n recommendations without effort to convince u with facts n figures or charts.

To cut things short, do a search by clicking on my username, richtan n read up all my advice to newbies, my recommended TA books (or u can buy from bookshops),   "Free Tutorial on TA"  n TA expert (see how experts analyse charts) websites.

Do not be to anxious n eager to jump into a "merciless battlefield" where only the knowledgeable tends to win., arm yourself with the knowledge 1st, practice your knowledge on some charts by covering the candles (price bar) n see where u go wrong (but note tat at times, u maybe right but the candles go against u, as TA is not infalllible) n remember by heart the mantras I keep repeating in my posting.

thks richtan and fellow  TA forumer, with all the nice charts. today is my first lesson in analyse chart from the web site that richtan posted. quite awhile ago. keep posting . will put in more effort so one day will be able to do active discusion in this forum. ( trying hard to follow, making head n tail wat you all r talking)

Hi Bintang,

Many thks for making the effort to post the chart, as I can't see the inverse head n the left shoulder, would appreciate if u can kindly post another chart to include the inverse head n the left shoulder.

Can your charting include annotation, if not u can consider using the free chartNexus from UOBKH.

Bintang      ( Date: 30-Jun-2009 20:25) Posted:

Sorry  for late reply , I just learnt to post chart . China Hongx has just formed the inverted left shoulder and the head pattern  recently .Because the run up to form the right shoulder was too rush and too fast without any consolidation , therefore the pull back was necessary . Even though it could cross the neckline without any pull back ,  it would also pull back to its neckline when the correction set in . From now on , the price may go sideway to consolidate as well as forming the  right shoulder.

Hi Bintang,

Thanks for your encouragement, we are fellow TA practitioner, so we talk in the same frequency.

Likewise, I also been using TA for 20+ years but initially  I started trading based on tips, rumours n wild calls in other forums till burnt badly thus why I abhors n strongly detest unscrupously postings, seeing history repeats on gullible newbies n seeing them walking the previous miserable  path I had without blowing the whistle..

We, TA practitioner do our TA sharing with ultruistic objective, not like those detractors of TA, accusing us of "ulterior motive" which really pains my heart.

Oh yah, btw, can kindly post your inverse H&S chart to share.

Thanks a lot

Do not be discouraged by other forumers ' posting , Mr Richtan ,  you have our strongly support , even though the chart goes the other way , this is normal in TA ,  I have learnt TA for 20+ years , but still making mistakes , TIME will prove you are right , stick to your principles  firmly .

Hi Matthewsoh,

My sincere apology, it is not tat I dun want to share with u how to spot buying sign.

Much as I would like to post a few liners on how to see buy sign, it is quite difficult for me to elaborate in one post.

In a nutshell, u need to know wat the candles, price-volume action is "talking to u" but of course, I always mentioned, it is not infallible.

Frankly, there is no shortcut to trading success, it is all thru hardwork n knowledge n practice n review n refining.

I had posted a few good TA books n "Free TA Tutorial" websites, I suggest u do a search under my username, read them up, master it n regularly refresh wat u read n practice it, u need to learn the ropes of the trade. Once u know how to fish, U can fend for yourself n ignore all those distracting"noises" in the forum.
