I may not be accurate but Singpost closing 0.910                                                                         52weeks High 0.965 , 52weeks Low 0.605

STI 2,647.91  - 52week High 2,700.78 : Low 1,455.47

this is a good counter...is more like a saving account just wait for good price to enter...anyway its a monopolize business..& base on charting...if its coming down it may even reach 0.880 on monday(i may be wrong) just doing prediction for fun

I got 1 question to ask...everything is so high now will there be consodilation anytime soon?

Hi lowchia, thanks for replying. Support at 0.904 is due to 21 Aug's candle right ? Can you share how you derive the resistance of 0.943? Thanks.

SingPost Q1 net profit down 0.1%

Singapore Post says its first quarter net profit dipped 0.1 percent to 39.4 million dollars from a year earlier.

Revenue for the three months ended June edged up marginally, by 0.7 percent, to 121.8 million dollars.

SingPost says the operating performance of its business segments in the first quarter was affected by the adverse economic conditions.

Excluding contributions from its acquisition of G3AP, both mail and logistics revenues fell while its retail business held steady.

SingPost CEO Wilson Tan says the operating environment remains challenging and difficult.

He says the company has been working on business and process reviews to strengthen its business and enhance efficiency and productivity.

Mr Tan adds that SingPost's two strategic acquisitions in the first quarter will help to strengthen the firm's core competency and also tap on new market potential and opportunities.

Sorry.. shud be "stochastics is overbought", not oversold.

bradical      ( Date: 29-Jul-2009 15:58) Posted:

Some caution as Stochastics is oversold, and ADX and +DI both turned down.  The trend is somewhat sideways ranging. Anyhow I bought some last week at 86.5 and may buy when further pullback. The overall market looks dipping over the next few days, with stochastics oversold and this may pull Singpost down. I think there is some support for Singpost at its 50day EMA (86.5ct) and 100day EMA (85.5ct).  The positive is MFI is heading upwards!

Wish you luck.

anyone into singpost?  my chart says time to buy but then again, im novice in charting.  im seeing:

1.  tight bollinger

2.  5d ema cutting upwards of 10d and 20d ema

3.  macd crossover

4.  adx... dunno how to describe this... + and - opening up

Poor thing, it seems like nobody bother you. Support line: It is a trend line (straight line) in basic technical analysis. This line can be slanting or horizontal depending on the price movement. For me I will take the low (not closing price), because of market sentiment. If there are a lot of low touching this line and bounce then this is a strong support line. Hope this help. Good luck L

Hi,

can you guys enlighten me how do you establish the support of 0.78, 0.75 and 0.725 ? Is it determined by how many times the stock closed at those prices and within a certain time frame ? Thanks.

Hi all investors,

Looks like trader88 is right. Strong support at 78c recently. Breaking all supports slowly, edging up.

Support is at 75c. If it closes below 75c today, next stronger support will be at 72.5c
