No matter who does it, it is utterly disgusting to even imagine such a distasteful, horrible, unhygienic act as this sort.

What is the world coming to! ?... Smiley

In Malaysian law, even consensual homosexual acts are illegal.

I think it is highly unlikely that Anwar can be stronger than a young chap. EVEN if the act did happen, it had to be consensual. If that is the case, then how come only Anwar is in trouble?

Malaysian politics is very interesting. Better than watching movies. :)

the happiness may be short, as he needs to appear in court on 9 Sep for his mee soto case.

the impending political turbulance after the by-election is unavoidable. thats will lead to country unrest and economy down turn.

Olympic latest.

Nike specially made running shoes for China 110m hurdle star runnner were gone to vain.

Liu Xiang, infront of 90k spectaters, pulled himself out of the race during the start of the 1st round run, owing to old injury, I think. He was then on the second lane, which the third world fastiest runner,fr USA, existed from the run, a Heat run before Liu, jinx ah. What a disappointment for billions of people, esp those fr China.

Meanwhile(this)...http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/87939...Several delegates at the PAS muktamar have called on the party leadership (how'll it ever work to implement those strict Islamics laws) to reach out to non-Muslims & encourage their participation in the party and this...

http://www.malaysiakini.com/columns/87845  Everywhere in the world, language is a political issue, since time immemorial. But in Malaysia context, the issue of language is, more often than not, a divider rather than a unifier. At times, the situation becomes so tense that it almost escalates into a threat to national security.
Needless to say, the non-Malays often look askance at the attempt by Barisan Nasional to widen the use of Bahasa. At most, probably not against the language per se, but the supremacist agenda behind it.
Meanwhile, the Malays simply don’t seem to understand why the Chinese in this country guard so jealously their right to mother-tongue education.

Language must unite, not divide
The rise of vernacular politics

More info on Anwar coming election...I'm not here to steal votes, says Hanafi

http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/87917

Permatang Pauh: It's a three-way fight, Little is known about Hanafi Hamat, the third candidate in the high-stakes Permatang Pauh by-election, but the soft spoken Kelantan-based leader of a small Islamic party is not at all fazed by his two heavyweight rivals.

teeth53      ( Date: 14-Aug-2008 19:32) Posted:

(Aug 13, 2008) : Umno Seberang Jaya assemblyman Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah is the Barisan Nasional (BN) leadership’s choice to take on PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the Permatang Pauh parliamentary by-election on Aug 26.

Incidentally, Arif Shah was the Umno Permatang Pauh youth chief in the 90s when Anwar was the division chief and the party’s state chairman.

Immensely popular in his state constituency which he has held since 2004.

In the last general elections, the other two state constituencies of Permatang Pasir and Penanti were won by PAS and PKR respectively, and only incumbent Arif Shah managed to defend his seat in Seberang Jaya.

It is understood that the Umno leadership felt that the BN candidate for Permatang Pauh has to be a local with powerful grassroots appeal, especially among the rural folk, if there is to be any chance of giving Anwar a run for his money.

I cannot understand how DAP and PKR are ever going to work with PUS if they are going to formulate policies in government in the future. One is secular, the other is religious fundamentalist.
