counter has been hoovering around 40-41c before the xe annoucement.. hence i doubt it will be moving south with the xd.....

rec date is the date company will close its books to ascertain the shareholders' who qualifies for the dividents. For example, if rec date is on Wed, you sell shares on monday, the title of the shares will be transferred from you to buyer on Wed, hence buyer will be on sharholders list on that day. Because of this, xd is 3 working days (inclusive of rec date) prior to rec date i.e. Monday.
was wondering why it didnt move. but well, the market is always right. may have to expect some dumping after the dividend...

You can sell from xd...i.e. ...13 Dec 06 to qualify for the div.
What do they mean by Rec date on 15Dec? Where the XD is 13Dec? That means when can we sell? 13Dec or 15Dec in order to get the dividend?
XD (6cts div) on 13 Dec--------1 week away. should see price start to move soon.
