Any expert coments on today trading?? can still go in?
hi i notice the sudden upsurge in this counter, but im also afraid the faster it go up, the faster it can go down too. after the upsurge, would it still be recommandable for me to go in?

news of genting recent upsurge

SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - Genting International Ltd soared to 52-week high on the prospects that it might be included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International Singapore index, dealers said.
At 2.42 pm, Genting was up 0.045 sgd or 8.33 pct at 0.585, off its 52-week high of 0.59 sgd. It was the second most active stock with 140.33 mln shares exchanged.
"Genting may be included in the MSCI and (is) probably coming up with a new placement of shares, so the bookrunners might be doing up the shares of Genting. That's why the volume is so heavy," a dealer with a local brokerage said.
"This is what the market has been saying right now, it's purely speculation," the dealer added.
The dealer noted that Genting will have to raise more funds through a share placement after it managed to raise only 425 mln sgd from a convertible bond issue due 2012 to institutional investors, proceeds of which will fund its 5.2 bln sgd development of the Sentosa integrated resort here.
A share placement could increase its public float and hence, its prospects of being included in the MSCI Singapore index, the dealer said.
"Back in November, the company did say that they will finance the (Sentosa) development between using debt and equity, so I won't be surprised if they come up with a share placement," the dealer said.

This one may be slated to become a blue chip if one considers its historic and economic sigificance. So all in all, it's a 'good' stock, in spite of price fluctuations.
ST reported today that there is rumour in the market that Temasek maybe interested in this counter and therefore spurred interest. The newspaper stressed that it is a 'rumour'.
The high volume suggests real buying up is occurring, not just retailer punters...
Expected a surge to occur, may hit 70cts in next week
Today at 0.59 it has broken the previous high of 0.55.
Chances of it moving to higher ground is high, possibly surging. But support is expected at 0.55. Of course it may go lower.
Like I suggested earlier, the mass fascination with this stock is something very 'real'.
All the aunties and uncles had join in the wagon and attracted by the big fish that push it up, beware!
