u see ar...the only reason you want to average down is just so we dont lose money on this particular counter. so as to appease ourselves and say hey, i haven't made a wrong decision in this.
but...there is opportunity costs as well. if u got extra funds, u can put in other counters which have higher potential to go up, rather than put more in this and have it stuck inside.
the way to see this is, where can your money work the hardest for you. not whether u lose money in this counter or not. as long as you earn overall.
thats how i see it la. haha.
i bought sapphire at 0.34, with a large portion of my funds, then it drop to 0.12! even after it stabilize, i also never average down cos i wont know when will it go back up, don want more funds to get stucked inside. now i am glad i didnt average down, cos with the little that i am left with, i can continue to trade and earn in other counters in bullish times. if i've gotten sapphire, it's only 0.16 now, still far from what i've bought.
ya, just sharing my experience. its your money =)
but that said, this counter can shoot up real fast.
