SembMarine: Atwood Oceanics reached an agr with co to delay its option for a 4th rig, originally due to expire by end of the mth, till 31 Dec 2011. Atwood currently has 3 jack-ups under construction and another two remaining options which it has not determined if it will exercise...
Co has won rig orders of US$1.1b YTD as reported in most recent results, significantly less than KepCorp’s US$7.0b SembMarine trades at 15.6x fwd P/E and KepCorp at 14.4x fwd P/E despite higher recent wins.

Possible award of PTTEP’s Zawtika platform project Source: Company, DBS Vickers LOI awarded to SMM’s SMOE and Saipem, worth under US$600m. According to industry news publication, Upstream, PTTEP has awarded the SMOE-Saipem consortium a LOI for the large central processing platform, worth under US$600m. The work scope of this project will include the fabrication and installation of 20,000 tonnes of platform topsides and an 18,000 tonne jacket. This will be used on PTTEP’s Zawtika natural gas development in Block M9 off Myanmar.

rabbit you trade based on your own rules, don't be easily influenced by others. However, news reading and chart learning is a must.
yup 5.18, i don't rule out the possibility that I've covered a wee bit early. Tmr can be lower if no good news from China.

Hello Salute, you need to know that last low doesn't necessarily mean it becomes a support. How many supports has s51 broken since early May post cd? Have you counted? The last low 5.16 was due to short covering that Tues ( i covered at 5.18 back then), it was because the day before STI had a big drop of 55-60 points and at least 15c intraday on s51. So far this month the index has only retreated modestly, hasn't seen a similar big drop yet but it will be soon.

Contra play is only for very sophisticated and experienced players.
For the ordinary dabbler to routinely play contra is suicide...
