Stock market is a very intelligent one. Singtel stock price somehow already discounted the bad news in the recent massive sell down from $4 to current level. Bottom fishing time!!!

DJ MARKET TALK: SingTel Likely To Fall As Jakarta Ruling Weighs (2008/05/12 08:24AM)
0024 GMT [Dow Jones] SingTel (Z74.SG) likely to retreat on concerns telco may have to forgo its second-highest earnings contributing associate Telkomsel after Indonesia upheld ruling that SingTel''s parent Temasek Holdings (TEMAH.YY) must sell or reduce its stakes in Telkomsel or Indosat (ISAT.JK). Jakarta also brought forward deadline for Temasek to reduce stakes within 1 year instead of 2 previously. SingTel says it''s examining ruling before deciding on appeal to next higher level, Indonesia''s Supreme Court. Temasek owns 55% of SingTel, which in turn owns 35% of Telkomsel; Temasek also owns 40% of Indosat through Asia Mobile Holdings. While some analysts expect Temasek in worst-case scenario to retain Telkomsel instead of Indosat due to its stronger operating position, current uncertainty will still cast doubts about SingTel''s future earnings growth, at least in short term, as Telkomsel and other associates such as Bharti account for over half of telco''s overall underlying net profit. Stock closed down 0.3% at S$3.71 Friday. Support at 2008 low of S$3.30 set in January. (FKH)

Not a big deal indeed. The share transfer just accounted less than 1%, compared to Temasek's previous holding of 55.96% about ten months ago.

Probably anticipated the outcome of the ruling...........
Heard Temasek dumped a big chunk of singtel last week. True or not? Why??
I thought Singtel going to announce results soon, so how come Temasek can dump within the no-trade-window period. Sounds like the law don't apply here!!!
Possible to reach 3.57 or 3.58?
Friends always laughed their head off when I said it may reach 3.68 again and that I sold too early the last time at 3.90 two weeks ago.
Nothing is impossible!
2mororro if drop to 3.60-65, better grab some for long term investment.
good luck to all interested buyers.
Accumulate now and cheong to $4 ah !!!!!!
Buy ah !!!!!
DJ marching 123, how boy, next Mon????
