Since 28-Nov-2009. Gent Sp starts to move up again (something really did not happen)
and why Gent SP keeping going down with so much interrest generated ??.
(cannot fail). it joy-ly required all retailers wholesales support to push px up B4 BBs can make another offer
Why...huh ??. almost everyday from openning till today (1.05/120 all the way to 0.84/0.95) and now closed at 0.845 cent
Everyday pple's is chasing it, try to bid (up/down), chasing it down loh using CFD to trade by bidding it down, if up cut lost.
Margin keep on calling, shotist keep on shoting. Most of them, including BBs lov to buy cheaper
They R awaiting to unload when TP is reachable and time may come B4 Gent SP announce, like for EG, getting a gamling licence or B4 it official opening.
Simply Bços most of them wanted to dump their conversion share bot at 0.95cent. (i maybe wrong either)
Win or loss, long or shot, be happy, trade with care...

The best time to buy is when everyone is scared or angry when someone mentions the word 'stocks'.
hehehe...

Andrew has the defensive approach...

that's a great approach for playing stocks which more must learn...
hehehe...

Wah....I thought you say stop playing golf....that is serious matter.
Anyway, the bad news is that it is 11 cts cheaper than last week. And probably the good news is that it is 12 cts more to MFT TP of 72cts.
But if it hit 72 next week, probably I will buy at 67.......the price I missed last sept....
IT WAS THAT CHEAP THEN !!!!

This is a disastrous over-confident approach, a common reason why people go "pok!"..
.74 is not that hard to reach, now that it has touched .84 today,
What's another 10c...
hehehe...

i mark your words :)

are we gonna see a reversal on this news?
new inclusion AREIT & GENS in FTSE
source CLSA...
For S'pore mkt
-Adds to Asia ex Japan: A-REIT and Genting Singapore. Deletes include
Cerebos, PCRD and Jardine Strategic.
-Adds to Asia ex Japan (small caps): CitySpring, Epure, First Resources,
Ho Bee, Lippo-Mapletree, Oceanus and Parkway. Deletes include A-REIT,
Creative, Pine Agri and Jardine Strategic. See attached for full list.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
* FTSE has announced the details of its annual review for Asia
Pacific ex-Japan. With an estimated US$3trillion benchmarked against
their indices and FTSE having won a good number of recent mandates in
Asia, investors should expect near-term price and liquidity impact.
* The key large/mid cap index is relatively stable with only 24
additions and 12 deletions. Still, the estimated two-way index turnover
is about 2.9%, much more than last year's 1.9%
* Meanwhile there will be lots of changes to the small cap index,
with 132 additions and 33 deletions leading to an anticipated 27.6%
two-way turnover. Even if you don't use a FTSE index, anyone looking at
small caps will want to watch these names for the potential market
impact.
* Also watch for Jardine Strategic which has been re-included, and
note STX Pan Ocean is emigrating itself to Korea from Singapore.
* Full lists of stocks in the note.
I don't mean stocks.
I mean trading commodities...
Where you short and long like nobody's business...

Genting Singapore
CITI INVESTMENT RESEARCH, Feb 21
![]() |
GENTING Singapore reported a FY2009 net loss of $277.6 million versus a net loss in 2008 of $124.8 million and the street's expectation of $210 million. This weaker than expected result was driven by higher administrative expenses and a loss-making Q4 at the UK operations and the pound's continued depreciation.
Resorts World at Sentosa (RWS) visitors at 20,000-25,000 a day: While management disappointingly gave out no exact figures or details on the mix of the visitors to RWS, they did confirm that they are currently receiving some 20,000-25,000 visitors per day.
We wait to see how the casino performs once it is fully operational but at the current run rate, RWS is significantly below our 2011 estimate of about 34,000 visitors/day and 24 per cent below management's guidance of 12 million visitors. In terms of sensitivity analysis, if RWS averages 25,000 visitors in 2011, we would need to cut our 2011 Ebitda by 26 per cent.
Casino opening 'within expectations': RWS would not confirm any gaming revenue numbers reported in the press but noted the opening had been 'within' expectation. While the casino is currently busy, we note that RWS is today only operating 270 gaming tables (versus some 500 tables RWS claimed it would open with).
Hotel at 60 per cent capacity: RWS is operating 800 hotel rooms of the 1,350 capacity. Management expects the remainder of the rooms to open (along with tables) in the next 4-6 weeks in time for the mid-March opening of Universal Studios.
Reiterate sell: We marginally reduce our estimates for 2010-12 on the weaker UK business which has been negatively affected by the increased rates on amusement machine licence duty and poker tax.
We maintain our $0.76 target price which is based on our 2010 sum-of-the-parts value of $0.64 and discounted cashflow (DCF) of $0.87. We note that if our DCF were to be based on a more conservative weighted average cost of capital (WACC) assumption of 9 per cent versus our current 7 per cent WACC, our DCF would decrease to $0.45.
SELL
