when is the first date we can dump the shares n still njoy the dividends??
AK, welcome back! How often u attended the AGM of company and in your experience, how many have "good food" i.e. they tread shareholders nice-nice? Besides SPH which I know.
Francis, not bad liao lah, Still have $10 voucher. If i am not wrong, the resolution is for share buyback. Do we know what's the duration and how many lots are they buying back?

All resolutions pass with no objection in today AGM. No special good news on extra $$ given except the good foods and drinks served after the meeting. And a goody bag given to the shareholder. One of the gifts is $10 SPC petrol voucher, mai hiam buay pai lah.

Nowadays no easy to find a fundamentally strong counter with gd divvy payout. Today dip just remind me of cosco case last week. Manage to grab some coffee money during the dip. With the sky high crude oil price and great margin, I can't see any reason why oil counter can't move further. cheers
P/s any kind soul can teach me how to export the transaction history (with price and volumn) from the net ? Like >> 0453pm $ 7.70 buy up 1000000 lots
Exported the transaction and notice that BB's has dump 1244 lots today. As what you have mentioned, i believed we will need to wait a couple more days for this counter to cheong again. So far DJ futures still green...so cross your finger!

I am still holding on o my longterm holdng, waiting for divvy....just sold off my contra position which I do not have intention (or no $$) to keep... Back to $8.00...still possible, just be patient, definitely not these few days where confidence in SPC is at the lowest.

It seems to me that there are many supporters for SPC. All posting positive picture for SPC to go up...SPC has cheong so much, correcting itself due to lower net profit is actually a good sign for this counter to cheong higher. Bottomline, lower profit is due to tax and not to demand of refined oil. So buy more!!!
good or bad i will hold on to kepcorp cos i vested v early..
yes kep corp got good projs coming up, but results for Q1, 08 wont be fantastic given economic climate
and as usual, many investors will knee jerk effect and throw the share on monday

monday kepcorp will hold at 11.50

fuel oil market is concerned, the influx of western cargoes overwhelmed positive developments in Chinese demand and further widened the discounted crack spread of highsulphur fuel oil versus Dubai crude to about minus $22/b in March
There are players around on SPC, a very strong blockage at 7.70. Not sure these players fr where but don't rule out got relation to today's AGM, 3pm. For those who still around till day close, try the 2 cents strategy loh, may get cheap stuff. Ie buy 10 bids lower on closing price if it maintains at 7.70 or below.
Kepcorp, last koon at 12.00, for me ok leow. Hmmm, L......... do you think it will follow suit, with much promissing projects ahead??? Its AGM is pm 25, this Fri.
Kepland cheong 13cts, now 6.20. Last qtr most property arms didn't make much leh. A bit worry leow. Give me 20cts more also can't break even ah. AGM am this coming Fri, coinside with Genting Int.

This burger hovering at 8.00-8.10 for the last few days. Simply buyers thought that would be the support level while waiting for the news yesterday nite. If good news, it cheong, most 40cts( the div given). In the contrary, it will plunge, but didn't expect it fell so badly, down to about 50cts.
7.62-7.70 is a good buy price, if you miss it too bad. 7.70 is the 40cts div variant pt. It it stay at this price till XD, will it drop to 7.30? AK home made formula says not likely but still possble, as there are so many unforeseen problem around us. Nonetheless, AK bought two within that margin for testing my formula lah. The main reason thats may not happen, as it had already responded to the out cry of the profits dropped and down 40cts from 8.10. Henceforth dropping another 40cts on XD is really unlikely. Moreover analyst said that its support level is 7.45, BT siad.
