Spivvy, a problem with trading short term using cash collateral accounts is that the will to cut loss will be weakened by the ability to hold. Sounds ironic but true.. When trading with part equity part leverage we will tend to be more responsible with our capital. This is for me la..for instance, I am one of the stuckists left holding the bag when jackspeed made top volume for only one day at 14cents. Right now it is 9cents. Imagine that... Over 30% loss from my purchase price! |

If you are just into pure cash (no borrowing) then open up an account called
cash collateral trading. Its meant for ST trades. No borrowing.....your limit is based on the amount of cash you have in the account.

You just have to be strong in your trades. Know when to cut loss and take profit. BBs always do stock flushing. So those with very tight cut loss strategies will sell lower to them before the stock goes up. So saying, every operator has different techniques of flushing and burning the shorts. Want a prime example, study PL's rowsley..
if u hv time to monitor..BB rolling btwn 83-84..if gap is wider can enter for a ST trade.

now cleared all my HK ST positions. Will re-enter if there is a breakout or when consolidate. good luck in your ST trade cccx.
