I think Singapore is one of the few countries that have experienced good times in bad times and the economy is good, but just not official only.
Even more so in propereties...
People are snapping up everything in sight...
Like there's no tomorrow...

They always say everytime is bad times. but when they go buying, they spend like dukes and duchesses. And electrical and electonic goods, gadgets and pheripherals are amongst their top purchases in these shows.
From their ATM's (their own savings)...
Habits die hard, no matter how bad times are...
hehehe...
I heard every 3 months the show is overcrowded with shoppers and they always net 40 to 60 million dollars worth of sales. Where does the money come from?

Walau, with this kind of trading band, it is hard

Most investors are waiting until their necks are stretching longer for Genting Sp shares to go above $1.00. Don't know when it can happen.
1 hr of trade, vol abt 12 million, px 93/935.
I don't hv any plan.

i think next monday will be a downtrend for genting. just feel that since MBS is opening, the crowd will all go there for a change. with all the luxurious night clubs and facilities there, genting must do something to make themselves attractive.
overall MBS is located in town, where it's accessible to most singaporeans and foreigners. but i dont think genting will hit .80 mark. at the most lingering around .80 to.85. At .90 and above, i personally feel it's a bit too high considering their rival is opening their shop soon.
just my 2 cents' worth.

i dun see why RWS need to publish the high rollers to public as SG govt does not encourage gambling....previous the winner also not publish by any major paper in SG only across the strait newspaper publish the news
