I am also thinking in terms of the huge expenditure required in
maintenance cost of the whole works...
Not to mention the diluting effect of the second one coming out at Marina Bay.
Hence the overall bearish bias..
But for a trader, profit opprtunities exist in all situations...
RIDE INSPECTION must be very Complacent, Incompetent, Negligent, Exuberant [CINE].
Genting did not make it to the top 30 volume for the first 40 min of trading....rather rare for such an active counter.
I have shorted heavily @

i seriously doubt they can open in april. my friend who is suppose to start work in march now told that can only start in april . date push back for staff like three times liao. my husband office overlook MBS he says doesn't even look half done. how to open in april. plus the new work force regulation...maybe they intend to open casino while the rest of the grounds r still half done who knows.

After a whole day's trading @Starbucks, you wouldn't expect me to go betting at the tables... I only go there in the cool sunless evening to savour the endless great new theme sights and other sights.
As for the casino scene, I am sure there are countless forummers who are only too willing to give you a hand in guiding you there, maybe even in person...

why is catching more cheats in casino considered bad signs...it should reflect well on the casino's tight security and surveillance so that millions of dollars wont be cheated that will affect the casino's figures.
You should watch '21' and see how cheat works...its a good show

Especially in these bad economic times (unlike during the pre-2007 big meltdown)...
seem like got no impact at all from the stock price today.... any way not many ppl interested in Genting liao... volume low low..
