0.75 should be alrite to enter if one wan to keep for long term... 0.65 is the BEST price but unlikely to reach unless market crashes....

my humble opinion ... as for now.... SHORT AHH !!!!!!!!!!!!

From the recent performance of genting sp post opening / Chinese New Year, seems like it will keep going down till the announcement of 2Q result.  Many players may try to avoid this counter for the possibility of further downtrend amid the opening of MBS and bigger loss amount in 1Q report caused the high opening expenses.  But not really sure what is the bottom of this share's price in the 2Q period???  What price is the best price to buy in near term, 0.80, 0.75 or ???

Yes,  I like what iPunter has said. " Any analysis is at best only an analysis."

Remember: WHO IS PAYING THEM (THE ANALYSTS) THE SALARIES?????
WHY THEY PUBLISH THEIR REPORTS AND GIVE RECOMMENDATION TO THE PUBLIC FOR FREE.???

Investopedia:
Analysts are typically employed by brokerage firms, investment advisors, or mutual funds. Analysts do the grunt work for brokers, preparing the research that brokers use.

Read any reports and recommendation with a pinch of salts. DO YOU HOMEWORK !!!!!!

NO FREE LUNCH.

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY

I give you my support... Smiley

I have no doubt you will succeed as a stock player in the long run.

I say that because you have adopted the right approach to the game. Whereas most people approach the stock market with the overpowering urge to only make money, they overlook the absolute need for good stock market education. preferring to. Stock market education is the only way to 'master' the market, as it were. But the reality is that in mastering the market, one is in reality mastering oneself, ie. one's own character.

Though the mechanics of trading are simple and easy to master, the psychological demands of the game are more overwhelmingly difficult to embrace.  In this regard, paper trading is only useful for practising the mechanics. As far as the real dynamics goes, paper trading is useless. This is because using toy money to play the market is a world apart from using one's hard-earned money. Believe me, they are two entirely different ball games.

actually to tell newbies not to play stocks is not so encouraging.  Instead, guide them to learn more first prior doing the actual trade, including just doing paper trading which costs $0.  Read more books and strategies, identify your trading style that will suit your lifestyle so that you wont have to stand outside sgx or go into internet exchange every minute to monitor.  While learning, in my opinion, it will be good if you are able to set aside at least S$20k for investing in stocks and ask yourself how much you are willing to lose from this amount.

Once you are comfortable with your trading style, then use your actual fund to play.  That would be a good start to really try on your style of trading with a minimum loss and ride your profit.

Ristaker... :)

Of course any analysis is at best only an analysis..

The stock market is an irrational place...

Thus, anything can happen.

We only need to deal with it accordingly... Smiley

My view is that a not unreasonable price level in the coming weeks may be .75c..

Particularly in view of profitability issues, as the two casinos were conceived and launched before 2007, when no one expected there would be a meltdown as serious as what happened in 2007. The economic outlook then was maximum upbeat.

Unless the outlook now is still maximum upbeat, I would rather short this one, at least for the time being.

Further, I see the technical chart pattern as not obviously rosy... Smiley

Why committed suicide because of playing in

the stock market. If that money is for your

medical usage and you lost it, perhap you

might died without medical attention.

Many people have died (committed suicide) because they playing the stock market.

Stock trading is not an adventure. It is a serious business and a serious job.

To succeed in any serious job, one has to be well-trained. The reason why so many committed suicide when playing stocks is simply that they are not properly prepared to do stock trading. It needs special training... in technique as well as in psychology

Thus, this is why I always discourage newbies from playing stocks.

I also agreed on iPunter's comment. Don play in stock if you dun understand. Thats why now i start to shift to invest in Property market in Singapore. More stable and at least this is REAL estate.

I thought this forum is regarding Genting SP? Why suddently talk about commit suscide???? If this is the current topic, my opinion for this stock market in 10 years, i think the only way you can profit from this stock market is long term hold and dollar averaging on the stock which is good counter. Before that investor must know how to read financial statement and all the fundamentals of a company. Invest only the business you know...
