This is a RTO. Albedo owner need to find ways to protect his wealth, at it's current form the company only burning $. Malaysian Party want more visibility in Singapore (via SGX Listing), easiest and fastest way, RTO. I expect Albedo current shareholders will end up holding only 5 to 10% of the new entity if RTO successful. Upon successful RTO, Albedo will have a viable business (property owning , development) and NAV is likely to increased. And the land value is likely to appreciates in value over time... being in the Iskandar region.
So the eventual float size will be in the multi-billions, but the NAV per share will increased, back by the value of the land.

They have to create value. Plain issuing shares will only devalue the shares. How is Albedo gonna get a term loan or investor confidence in backing their $1B purchase? Maybe some big name investor or JV will surface in the days to come since the MOU is signed to effective till 30th August.
