Take d yalkstick fr SPC loh, 8 cts as compared d 40 cts in d preceeding yr loh..

I'm not sure, but has it been announced to the public Keppel bonus for this year yet?
In case you guys don't know, for Keppel FELS, the bonus is 7.8. For Keppel Shipyard, it's 8.8.
Including thirteenth month.

Nicky i recommend u to show KepCorp la..better risk/reward than compared to DBS...
As posted earlier on other thread on Citigrp Finance issues, not sure how bad DJ market tonite will be affected. And subsequently epidemic to global market as well.
Foreign Investors unloaded China bank steak also good to ponder about liao, AK guesses.

Per AK below, you must remember that in the shipyards (the rig / ship building div S'pore) the vast quantity of workers are sub contractors from the Indian sub continent, so the workers when the orders start to drop off, these are guys will no longer have work, the actual staff I doubt will alter, you will not see Kep corp laying off people in the ST. contracting co's yes maybe.
Take d yr low of 3.35 as yalkstick when STI was 1472.77. But must watch out more expected project cancellation owing to global credit crunch. Modifying n maintainance of old rigs n ships will not give enough work load for the great fleet of employees globally. Retrenchment could be d final answer to cut opt cost loh. May see ds after CNY. Causeway n Tuas second link then would be less traffic jam liao.
