i still believe this is the start of build up to a mid-year rally end of June 09.
Coal price is expected to trend upward as demand for coal remains strong. Beneficiary of strengthening coal price would be Straits Asia Resources. SAR’s FY09 earnings will remain strong, with promising FY10. Its expansion plan to boost production by enhancing its infrastructure capacity is also on track. Maintain BUY, TP: S$ 2.26.

if dow closed above 7-pts tonight, what do you think would be the day high for 19 june fri?
Recover will come but not within weeks. STI resistant is at 2200.
It is not surprising that SAR will lose steam, stocks like ausgrp has also fallen today...dun lose hope yet. Might jz be a bear trap. As quoted by others, with the increase in oil px, more will turn to coal as an alternative. =)
Is starting to slide as shown in the chart. For those that play contra, better dump. I already dumped mine yest, heng with some profit.
this fellow has lost its power steam to go up anymore liao .... huge trading qty today .... keep selling down ... doesn't look good anymore to me.. if this continue, should be below 1.6 very soon.... hopeless
