OUT...The chief E. officer who bleed, IN - the owner acting for as Chief Executive Officer.
Business is ongoing and there is no better time than now to collect the stocks at such a low price.
I attended the AGM yesterday, and was encouraged that Dr. Chew has assured changes to be made and inviting some experienced abalone farming African to provide some guidance. Hope it turns out to be good for the company.
Corrected, they won't fail.

No way the company will close shop because large investments had been committed by investors. That is to say it will not happen unless mismanaged until no one wants to come to rescue it or that if SGX found desire to do that for the " benefit" of investors.
Close shop???. post seem to indicating some mean thot.
Almost really want to LOL. there are many, better to close most of them too. then to do penny trading.

Probably not close shop but may fall below S$0.05 soon. Funding drying up and cash is hard to come by these days. How many more rights can they offer when their business is being swept out into the sea ?

The idea of placing it to BBs placees, is so much better then to doing a right issue, where prices will always mean one way down, too many very good example here.
looks good. can start to buy.
What 19 placees know, they will know better then us. Result will show...is their money they trust in their stk.

Last and not least. A farmer life is so much better, but is have to do with hardwork and homework to reap reward when is time to sell to d mkt.

V. Jan 2012 - Two South African abalone experts engaged by the Grp visited the farms to review and evaluate the reported mortalities by ex-management.
Note: The new mgt team had put in placed some of the key farm mgrs and supervisors with more experienced staff recruited for, for the seafood farming industry.
Animal husbandry measures are being reviewed and better practices implemented. The team is also ensuring better quality feed is made available to the animals.
VI. To improve cashflows, the Grp will focus on live sales of juvenile abalones when mkt prices are attractive.
VII. For processing plant, Grp will focus initially on basic process products – frozen and canned abalones and on OEM processing services. Head counts have been reduced and cost cutting measures implemented.

Series of activities, oso done by inhouse day traders. It closed of @0.082cts. (Inhouse traders Vs mkt players which is more optimistic)
I don't disagree with you on this, but what you mention has been the company's goal from the onset and they have fallen flat on their faces thus far. The new management will need a few years to rebuild investors confidence and to have a proper healthy track record (if they achieve it), needs at least (in my opinion) 5 years - one cannot simply force the abalones to grow. No doubt their sea cucumber sales will help out, but its really the potential in the high value abalones that investors are eyeing.

But forward looking, if Oceanus proves that it is capable of rearing successful good quality abalones and sea cucumbers, and other edible sea molluscs, and are good at installation of the infrastructures for a profitable business, then investors definitely will eye the company. No one could determine the price that people will offer at present, since everything is still in the infancy stages.
Should the management use or acquire knowledge of other successful like businesses, headhunt and recruit talents who are experienced for their type of operations, I am sure the day will come when the counter will rise above 50 cents before anyone catches an eye for takeover of such an offer that seemed high today but not in future. So if this is coming true, 60 or 70 cents are not really high. Lol.
