I make $6K monthly at  Casino NUS graduate

Confession pages on facebook are now the rage. Here's STOMP's choice of the confession of the day.

Today's confession features an NUS student who makes $6,000 every month just by gambling at the casino.

Here is the confession in full:

" Before I start my confession, I would like to inform that those strongly against gambling may ignore this post.

" I graduated last May. Although I was educated in one of the more famous schools in NUS, I did not find the job I am looking for. I did get offers now and then during that 3 months job search period after graduation but none really enticed me. Being very interested in stats and math and of course gaming, I decided to take out my savings of $50000 and start an unconventional business.

" I paid $2000 as sunk cost for the annual $2000 casino levy at one of the two IRs and used the remaining $48000 as my capital. Each time I enter I bring around $3000 as my capital for that trip. If I lost everything, I will come back another day. Absolutely no chasing back of losses which can easily lose my whole $48000 bankroll.

" I played a particular game I love and am very good at. Since the first month, I had been making $6000 every month. 3 nights each week.

" Total 12 trips per month. 1 trip I win $500. I'm now enjoying my life. No worries, only excitement. I visit the casino at around 8pm just when the whole CBD starts to get deserted and leave casino at around 8am in the morning, just when everyone goes to work.

" It felt really great but of course, self-control is key. Know when to stop while winning, stop as a winner!"

I don't know why so different.   Whenever I went RWS, the basement carparks are always full and you have to wait for someone to drive off before you able to take his space.   I only visited on weekdays and in the evening only and just to pass time and enjoy the food there after work, The car parks are both for gamblers and non gamblers.

Are you going there on weekday or weekend? Weekend and properly school holiday will have more punters. Same concept with the food market, most of the people go for lunch during lunch hour. If not lunch hour definitely less people....

You are right. Car parks can't tell the  full story. Anyway can't expect much from those Mamas and the locals .

I was expecting visitors from China, Japan or otherwise. Not many. Maybe RWS should rethink their marketing plan

MBS car park is much smaller than RWS, isn't it. Furthermore, if most of the VVIP is from overseas, they don't drive there. Instead the casino will provide free transport. Looking at the last result is more accurate.

You should have gone to take a look at the basement car-parks reserved for the VVIP & VIP punters.

It is 90% empty!

It's very difficult for  a casino to make good profits without players being  brought in by the junket operators

Spend one whole day at the resort yesterday.

There was a big crowd in the Universal World. Many Indian and Malay tourists or locals. I notice most people got special coupon, meaning they got dicount to enjoy the facilities there. Also quite s few China nationals.

Just a few Ang Mo's.

The performers were mostly Ang Mo.

Looking at the set-up. Looks nice, but what about the cost of running the Resort.

Peep into the casino. Look quite empty.

I can't help thinking is The Resort dose making money?
