You think Mr Kim is mad. Think again. It is beyond our imagination until we can see what is happening inside N Korea. Definitely he is up to something. He will not act as many have thought he will anyhow fire and shoot. He and his country may perish. He would not want to end up like SH in Iraq.

I totally agree. Have holding power people will not die haha even though i trade small small i not worried or cry everynight haha i can zzz n sometimes even forget the market hahaha. So sigh i won't be someone who shivers in my pants whenever I hear the word stocks.

Hi.
There is a possible neck-line that joins the lows of 8 Feb and 21 May. Coupled with super-oversold indicators, this may lead us to think that STI is likely to bounce up and form the right shoulder of a H&S pattern.
ADX however is rising rapidly with -vely placed DIs; the index is walking on the lower B band; the down-turning 200MA is at 2,775(although no dead crosses yet); All these are bearish signals which makes the formation of the Right Shoulder very difficult.
If the Right shoulder were to form, it will probably be a very small one.
Alternatively, if STI breaks the low of 8 Feb at 2,666 , it would have broken down via a double top pattern, despite the 2nd top being higher than the 1st top, making 2,400 the target by measurement.(interestingly, in Apr 09, STI bottomed via a double bottom with the 2nd bottom lower than the 1st)
So, my opinion is that for STI, upside is very limited(perhaps at the 200MA, 2775), whereas downside is at around 2,400 if 2,666 breaks.

i not too sure. i saw my charts, look like STI is ready to form the right shoulder and rebound coming. target <2950 but shifu said it may dip further in order to form the right shoulder? anybody? but i think...u can hold it and see how it perform next week. i still believe rebound coming, right shoulder forming? anybody??

'Missing the boat' is in fact one of the downsides of having a defensive strategy...
No one can be so sure that a boat is the real boat that one should board at all costs.
In fact, at this very moment, those who have been hurriedly and confidently boarding boats will tell you their very, very "cham" (sad) story.
This is because many confident people have already been boarding the many boats since 2-3 months ago... ie. when the STI was dropping like shet from around 3000. Thus, those who have 'missed all the boats' since that time would have saved a significant amounts of cash (real money), whereas, those who have boarded the cheap-cheap 'correction' boats confidently with 'faith' would have been "pok!" right at this very moment.
Stock market play is not so simple as "missing the boat". It is a complicated story of human character. It is all about defensiveness and protecting one's hard-earned money.
