This counter is extremely bearish. Large price fall with big volumes. Price has cut the lower bollinger band and the Acc/Dist and Chaikin charts are downtrending.

Poor volumes and the Acc/Dist and Chaikin lines are not too bullish looking.
it went ex-bonus on 5 apr.
Hi anyone know why Unisteel have such a sharp decline in the share price?
same goes for Tommie Goh for JIT Holdings right? Lucky bugger.
I've watched this stock rise from penny stock levels a couple of years back to 2.40 levels.
I also heard that its MD is someone without university education. I am very impressed that someone can grow a company from scratch to this level.
Not vested.

It was higher on expectations of strong earnings going forward, driven by rising demand both in the HDD and non-HDD sectors, dealers said.
"We believe Unisteel will continue doing well due its leading market position," Merrill Lynch said in a a recent note to clients. "Besides the core HDD fastening solutions, Unisteel is extending its product offering into handsets, game consoles, consumer electronics and automotive segments," Merrill said.
Merrill expects Unisteel's net profit to rise to $47m this year from $41m in 2005. This should improve further to $58m next year and to $72m in 2008, said Merrill which has a target price of $2.50.
UOBKH also rates Unisteel a "buy", targeting $2.28.
"Unisteel's earnings will be more resilient due to its diversified customers within the HDD industry, including Seagate, Western Digital, Fujitsu and Hitachi," UOB said, adding demand for non-HDD fasteners is increasing as Motorola prepares for more product launches in the second half of 2006.

This is what I wrote to Trader888:
honestly, i was a former analyst with a local brokerage firm, quit after a short stint because I wasn't learning anything there, just asked to post bullish reports by the research manager.
once, the big boss had a big client who probably had some information on BIL and I was asked to post a bullish report on it.
So if you act on these so called professional analysts' reports, you are just benefiting the big boys who have already loaded up on the counter.
