I agree with imall29 view below ... but it is not right to compare China Plant Nutrition with China XLX....it is not an apple to apple comparison....China XLX is one of the top and biggest in the fertiliser industry, but China Plant is a much smaller scale...not to say it is not up-n-coming...

It is a smart move to announce it after the listing of China XLX is because it gives investors some LISTED company to compare with China Plant Nutrition.
China Plant Nutrition might not accept the offer if it is not at discount price. If you were China Plant Nutrition, will you accept same price as market closing price?
Thanks imall29 for your 2 cents. So i believe u are saying that China XLX is traded at high price. So in order to close the deal with China Plant Nutrition, Firstlink need to give something more valuable. Ok, i hope my understanding is correct.
So is this considered good news? Will it continue to chiong after tomorrow resume trading? 
I think China Plant Nutrition is in the same business as China XLX. China XLX is traded around $1.20 today. In order to close deal, of course it has to be at a discount price. Just my 2 cents here.

I think it is fair to be at a discount price. We should be happy it is not at a unreasonable discount price. It is a smart move to announce it after China XLX listed.

Part of Purchase is by issuing shares at 14cts each representing a discount of last close price at 17.5cts....so is this good news?
FirstLink proposed acquisition of shares in China Plant Nutrition Holdings Pte ltd.
Seems like they are not going to resume trading today. Hopefully tomorrow huat ah! Cheong cheong cheong to above $0.20. 
Finally the news on FirstLink got announced..delayed by 1 week to wipe out the weak holders.Very happy for those making $ from first link...next plse lookt at Japanland 17cts and below grab...JadeTech 19.5cts and below...and Oculus 32.5cts and below just grab...the same group of pple are gaering up and going in/went in big amount..Good Luck folks and happy investing
