I think volume is fine to look at with other factors and analysis.
And that is how shareflux, by watching the volume, notice the unusual movement.

I observed something strange about Midas buy/sell queue. On too many occasions, no one it taking out the small size of sellers numbering in double digit. Hence, the buyers numbers in thousands are not real and are there just to create a wall to prevent sellers from selling and create a buzz of a lot of buyers for this counter.
For example, today I see 1500 buyers Q at 495 and 30 sellers at 50. And when the wall breakdown to the 49/495, the same thing happen. Midas buy/sell queue could be manipulated and controlled. I don't know but I smell conspiracy here.
I usually take the failure to break the bottom valley of M top formation as a confirmation of the downward trend, vice versa for the W bottom, as upward trend. Refer to the diagram. As the fail to breakup from valley of M top formation, and breakdown from the lowest point after the M top formation does not contributed a significant difference in probability of downward trending.

It is a very interesting stöck to watch, pitting Glorious house calls and Cheong analysis. On the level of detail like car length and price per m run, Cheong is impressive and unsurpassed. There is at least five house calls on Midas and a singular voice in SJ singing the opposite tune. I am very intrigued by the absolute silent on the high valuation and deteriorating by these houses. Every one is talking about the project wins but no one mentioned the low profit margin, long project delivery time and currency risk.
On the share market front, the daily walling of one million shares does not translate into velocity of transaction. Can't help but feel there is a concerted effort to move the share to unsuspecting investors. I dread the day when all these are exposed and it's effect on the share price. With the impending bad news the days of reckoning is not far away.

break below 0.48 to confirm the M top is formed.

Be cautious, this counter failure to break the M top valley has result in confirmation of downward trend on the daily chart, and for the weekly chart some of the cross over also start to form indicating a longer downward trend maybe expecting. The volume picking up in the downward movement indicate more are getting out of the counter, thus will be expecting a sharp fall soon.

Why after XD the price will run? The dividend is supporting the share price and usually the share of a company will drop by equal amount or near the dividend value after the expiry date. I think you are confusing dividend with right issue.
