P&D is very likely...
If it drops another cent tomorrow, then it is even more evident...
P and D maybe???
You got my point...
And i agree with you too...
hehehe...
By the way, at this moment, the market is ominous...
That rally of GentingSp 2 days ago appears rather 'unnatural'.

I do agree with you...alot of 'investors' will be saying things like 'its ok la, they give dividends every year so bery good'...and when I checked on the drop in price vs dividends given...I just laugh it off.

Investors normally think of dividends, broker commissions, and such inconsequential things but can bear losing a sizable portion of their holdings in a downtrend...
There is much truth in the saying "penny wise, pound foolish"...
In other words, they can bear to lose $50,000 of their money, but can't bear giving $50 commision away to protect that $50,000 from vanishing before their eyes...
A very perplexing peculiarity of 'investors' (and they call that investing!)...

For non-punter (those who punt stock up and down every day.) , i can only do the cost averaging especially in the down market period. May be once a month contribute 5 - 10% to the stock ? This is part of the strategy to stay long-term investment in the market for , NO one can time the market, but can take advantage of the market's movement.
