Ultimately, u hv to trust yourself, in all dealings.
A typical exp, Lehman's saga, streets blaming it was a misled deal fr the so-called fund managers or investment professional/analysists. On the other hand, u willingly passed them the $ as u entrusted them faithfully, when they tabled the portfolio to u. Whose fault???
Anyway, be vigilant in stock trading. BBs could be the players behind the scence. Upfront downgrading px on stock could be an indirect short sell down of the particular stock. Only retail investors suffer most.
Just wondering, is that an honest call or those kakis is calling for short and not long...Ms sallie Krawcheck. Wall St's "last HONEST analyst" exit...Citigroup liao. What next..?, more problems is 2 be sweep into carpet..isit ?. GIC is into Citi Grp investment...:((

Dow Futures is up by so much but SGX is not moving higher! Does not look good leh!
actually now SGX has a new form of income..
$50k for those who cannot cover back..
if tat's the case not bad la..Q3 income statement should look gd..:)
Take note that shorting is still happening but covering the very day. SGX is charging penalty on those who do not cover on the very day of short (naked short). So if you short in the morning, by 5pm needs to cover back, no penalty for this case. SGX will take this as intraday!

SGX volume isn't adversely affected by the shorting regulation. Volume just crossed the 700million mark as at 2.50pm.

Dun worry, a lot of helpers around.
Nomura, bigest brokerage firm fr Nippon, buying in Lehman's EU and ME investment arms.
MAS, Spore, asks banks to see what can be done on local Lehman's victims who were claimed to be misled to buy the structured product. BT today.
DIG 48 pg annl report, first one since inception 1981. The key word is 4.5% annualised return.
GoldSac & MS??. Let others cheong first lah, as he has done his part in UBS n Citi earlier on liao.
5 Bil is no small sum, just like Temasek bot into ML (a big risk at that moment in time) and now compare to investing in SGX, support is within range.....bad news has peak though there is still some bad news coming....from US, EU, maybe nearby regional from Japan.
No need for more bad news or turmour to arrive at $5. All it take is a constant decrease in trading vol. & perhaps ipo listing.
A big thk Qs...Ya From: Aleoleo...Those wieh to know..what this mean......:))
