Haha, iPunter, you're so right. That's greed,I should have sell at least 40-50% at $1.30 , but instead I get greedy and only sold 10%.Guess that's human nature.

If and when the price does reach the break-even point of purchase... by which time the market sentiment will be so euphoric and carnivally bullish that no ordinary mortal will want to sell anything at sych a 'low' price... This is an eternal truth humanly hard to accept... hehehe...

| Hope you're right, the last time too greedy to wait for $1.50, only managed to dump 10% of this counter before the down trend. These time if it ever goes back to $1xx will probably sell some to get back capital then hold out the rest as bonus. |

There's always 2 groups of ppl here holding opposite opinions .Those who bought $1 and above will wish for the bull and those who waiting to buy or short will wish for the bear, can never agree. |

Good advice is neither 'nice' or 'not nice'...
Neither is good advice 'evil'...
Knowing the real underlying (beastly) nature of the stock market is the best knowledge one can acquire in a lifetime...
And anyone should be fortunate, and be forever thankful, to have anyone dispense such good advice in the form of a reminder of the beastly or potentially beastly nature of the stock market...
But when under the overwhelming influence of an urgent desire to make good money, it is normal for individuals to consider such advice extremely 'evil'...
hehehe...

In the share mkt, there is no such thing as "wish"
Investor go long "wish" for the bull, likewise shortist
"wish" for the bear. It's all abt manipulation, timing, mkt
sentiment, factors affecting the rise or fall of a share, plus
many more. Tat's the reality in playing the share mkt.
Tat are my views, others may have different opinions.

At this very moment without doubt it is expensive by any standards since this company has no positive earnings yet..... that's why the May 13th comes into the equation. Depends on the numbers reported ie:EPS, then we can work out the multiples and from there, one can decide if it is cheap, reasonable or expensive.
Again, just my view on it.

let's look at the number of visitor to rws and the money they spent.... no doubt the casino especially bring in some big money but all these have been factor in liao....maybe, i say maybe the result is not bad but definitely not very very good...thus even if the shares does shoot up, it is because the support of the auntie and uncle and maybe some malaysian supporters... for very long term i tin, not at the moment... sell into strength if it really goes up temporary....
the 1.30 price is history at the monent, maybe when the market really recover..... the 1.30 is becos of the hope before the opening and the hope have varnished liao...
When genting sp price go up, some people may create the "negative news" and even some news are really outdated. the intention is questionable. Let's put the simple way, despite Lim KT has sold his shares at price around 70cent at that time but at the end the share price went even up to 1.35 later. If genting sp price go down, it will affect the whole genting group share price as well, Lim will always with genting sp and his responsibility cannot be run away just simply as selling his shares. Put it another words, in flavor of the strict regulations and sensitive market emotion in Singapore, may be it is good to let a company i.e. Genting Bhd rather than a person to be the major shareholder for the casino in the company.
In short, let's stop to keep goreng all these outdated news, what we want to look for now is the 1Q report whether they will be strong enough to survive in this new industry. Wish us all the luck and be a responsible shareholders in this company.

the CEO sold his shares doesn't mean anything much i feel. i just think that the more we on our computer and look at this shares, the more mixed feelings we have thus lead to some stupid impulse buying/selling. This should be a long-term investing share so therefore buy already dont touch liao.. everyday see see look look and enjoy.. Still hope 13th May will be something a lil positive!

| You are right that Mr Lim sold almost all his stake in Gen Sp but he is still the CEO of Gen Sp. U must not forget also that all CEOs in listed companies do the same thing.... is to look after the interest of the investors and directors... lay mans term... the company profitability and revenue which is directly related to the company share price. In turns, the CEO gets big chucks of the stock options..... haa haa.... I want to be CEO too I am smart enuff.... too bad I am not...... !!!

My thinking is tonight wall street will move up, but if it doesn't then I think stock market may become a dead place to put my money in, right? I am learning, so please give good advice |

| Btw Mr Lim sold his Gen Sp shares not because he has no faith in the Singapore venture.... he sold it because he needs the capital for another acquisition in another casino (MGM I think?? ) . Truly spreading his wings......

Your 3rd paragraph, if I can remember correctly,
Ah Lim has oreli sold a substantial amount of his shares.
His assurance to investors are no more credible.
If it is good, why sell?????? |
