In this kind of the market, seem like BB accummulating is much stronger. My confidence is booming up...
Below was initiated by MAERSK LINE, as annouced by MAERSK  CEO, Soren Skou during the recent Antwerp cool logistcis conference .
Maersk and safmarine are from the same group.
3rd October 2012
Reefer base rates to increase USD 1,500 per FFE
effective 1
st January 2013Dear Safmarine Customer,
With effect from 1
equivalent unit (FFE) across the globe. This substantial increase is directly connected to our efforts to
continue covering your service requirements, and as such this increase will apply to all our valued Reefer
customers.
Transporting refrigerated cargo is an important business for Safmarine and we would like to assist with
the successful transportation of your cargo and help you ship your produce quickly and efficiently.
Today, refrigerated containers are almost four times as costly to build as dry containers and associated
expenses such as plugs, bunker cost and R& D put pressure on costs. We would like to continue investing
in reefer equipment, but the current rates do not make it financially sustainable for us to do so. Given this
scenario, we have already decided to no longer invest in reefers in 2013. This increase is vital to ensure
that Safmarine can continue investing in reefers in 2014 and beyond.
We understand the significance of this increase and the impact to you as a valued customer, but this will
enable us to further invest in the growing demands of the segment so that you can experience the benefits
of a reliable reefer service.
We thank you for your business and look forward to serving your future transportation needs.
Should you have further queries, please feel free to contact your local Safmarine Sales & Customer
Service team.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
st January 2013, Safmarine will increase all reefer base rates by USD 1,500 per fortyfor Safmarine Container Lines

I believe below 1.10 is a very good price to enter.
Bad news from US and Japan.
The container volumes are increasing since 2008 and never drop. Freight rate low just because of over supply of container vessels. The freight rate is maintained higher than 2011 whole year since march. Hopefully all these liners discipline of not falling competitive price fighting continually.
So far So good.
Furthermore, 2005 to 2008 till 2012 which is about 5 to 7 years. A lot of charter contracts which  are paying with high charter price are ended in 2012 till 2015. Liners now purchased giant container vessel more than 10,000TEU directly from shipyard  to cut down operation cost and charterers are forced to reduce charter fee of  the container vessels which are below 10,000TEU and maintain about 2 year  contract instead of 5 to 10 year contract. All these  Charterer who  bought vessel in 2005 to 2008  will be suffering from 2012 to 2015.
So long as Liners are self-discipline, they can navigate the oversuppy period of 2013 to 2015 and the party to suffer are all those vessel charterers.
already planned my entry, but the only thing tat is holding me back is the trade figures by the different countries' govt
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/economics-blog/2012/aug/12/fears-global-economic-slowdown-markets?intcmp=239  is one of the examples......  but of cos there are good ones from smaller countries

how much u all trust the broker house calls? KE and M say target is ard 0.95

2 weeks to NOL 3Q financial report date, 25 Oct 2012.
Whoever join NOL let's share. My sharing as below:
1) I am betting reverse turn over of NOL by announcing profit in coming quarter report on 25 Oct, not too long, 2 weeks only
2) Maersk(No.1) and CMG(No.3) had reported profit in  last Q, NOL result  normally report about 2 month late as compared them. As such, I believe NOL will be profitable
3) The freight rate stay above 2011 all year freight level and the  fuel oil bunker price stay  low since May. As per my detail calculation of the freight rate, bunker rate with the no of containers and region that they operate, I  calculated about 150million of profit in coming 3Q.
4) Previously, NOL announce to sell main office building. Now no more news, seem like their finance become healthy.

Who has courage, let's buy NOL.
