Yes, I agree must be patient ..
Last year was the first year I play stock. As a beginner I was feraful when my stock fall and I let go and I lost a lot...
e.g. My Ezra enter at 1.15 drop till 1.015 and I let go ... then suddenly when I let go ... it chiong all the way non-stop till abt 1.3 ....
e.g. Ezion got in at .82 and then fall to .72 when it rise to braeak even I tot just let it go and buy back when i fall ....then suddenly Ezion chiong chiong all the way non-stop till the height of almost 1.85 ....
I learn my lesson .... patience is the key here ... just sharing my painful lessons ...
I have confidence in STX OSV, i will at least make it to 1.375 to close the first gap and then to close the second gap of 1.5 and then the rest depending on the contract and visibility earning ...
Let's all work tgt and see the result soon .... just sleep well, sit tight and enjoy the ride ....... UP!

Dont fall in love with stock. Dump them if they dont move to your expectation.

agree chances of upside quite high.. hhehehe.. gong xi gong xi!
A lot more big vol buying up at 1.28 and 1.285 ...
It is only the small amount selling off and immediately snapped up ...
Well supported at this level and hope that there is catalyst to spur it forward and gap up ..

Upside potential is definitely high after the " dust is settled" . When it dip a little , can load up more (I would think it would fluctuate within a few cents during current period ). Only possible downside risk is if the Final year (2012) results to be announced in Mid Feb are real bad . Nonetheless, it would not go below 1.22.
The " risk free" price would be 1.25 (1.22 + 0.03) conservatively, being the offered price + dividend in Apr 2011 based on 2010 final results.
The profits for 2012 is not as high as that of 2011 , but it should be between 2010's and 2011's , hence , I would say the dividend announced would fall within 0.03 to 0.10 cents per share, if the management decide to give dividend .
For those who still have bullets , you could load up when there is a pull back to maximise your returns....

Easily reach 1.5 when General Offer deal is done and settled, this is 14 -15% upside and for 680 lots, it is profit of 130K if your entry price is 1.3 ....

Peter_Pan, are you still holding on to this counter? Any up date?
there were past cases while the price become lower then offer price after GO over...
hopefully it don't happen to STX OSV.
