However, I do noticed that SPH behaves irrationally during major bad or good events.

 

Looks like they realised their screw up.

STI slightly higher at open The benchmark Straits Times Index added 8.52 points or 0.28 per cent to 3,041.57. In the broader market, gainers beat losers 127 to 94 in a turnover of 115 million shares. Singapore shares inched higher on Wednesday despite Wall Street sagging overnight on interest rates worries.

 

For it to go below $4, you need some very bad news...

This article was featured in BT Online under 'Breaking News'. They obviously used yesterday's closing figures to report today's opening. What a big boo boo!!!!!

Together with other recent articles, seems to me that BT is trying to talk down the market. Wonder what their hidden agenda is?

STI dives 1.7% at open The benchmark Straits Times Index dropped 50.97 points or 1.68 per cent to 3,033.05. However, in the broader market, gainers beat losers 67 to 33 in a turnover of 13.6 million shares. Singapore shares started mixed on Wednesday after Wall Street sagged overnight on interest rates worries.

 

Did anyone read about an article in the Business Times? The essence of the article is that there is still room for shares to fall - and fall hard. Shares are, in general, over valued by 30%. If this is accurate enough, SPH will go under $4 very soon.

SPH seems to be bouncing back, won't be surprised if it close positive today.

 

Dun just think of the property side of the equation to grow, I'm sure there are many more initiatives their mgmt are currently adopting which can become a hit if successful in time to come...Cheers!

Since everything is costing more, why doesn't SPH uses this golden opportunity to increase the selling price of the Straits Times?
