Wah, you also very good, managed to collect at 7.4c. I terrible, collected a bit last Friday at 8.1c, then wanted to collect more but heard got people wait at 6c. So I thought I wait at 7c sure can get. Then I saw OCBC report, quickly post it (may be should not have posted it until I managed to collect at 7c first) hoping to make HK's tonger stay strong and small holders take position. Like my friend lucky like to say, let other people make. Take my word, like my friend leeeta said, 10c also cannot get already once FY14 1Q comes out, give analysts a few days, all sorts will reports will come out.

I see shutdown as a blessing. Then stronger likelihood Dem & Rep will negotiate on budget & debt ceiling with a single deal for both. Each have to give something...then square off in 2014 elections. Why blessings? Once growth affected, give Big Ben and then Gentle Janet Yellen the excuse to continue QE so equity continue cheong. When pp expects volatility, market changes tack. Don't buy based on this nonsense, just talking for fun. lol
Shortist wanted to trap the retailers during the last penny run..and were waiting for the T+3 , T+5 to knock them down..and coupled with the selling momentum caused by the US shutdown thingy yesterday, shortist whacked the pennies harder until the contra players cannot recognize their father mother...they got lucky with some pennies but today they bled at Hankores door.

The is a very plausible reason why there was a huge rally in penny stocks today. Look at the total short sale value yesterday, on the 30 Sept. Almost 200 million sgd in value sold short, something rarely seen since sgx decided to publish short sell data. Today, many brokerages and BBs or CKs, whatever you call them, went in to punish short sellers who were shorting ytd and those who decided to join in today, thus precipitating the rally today in many stocks in the top 20 actives, Hankore included.
I am not sure we will see such a market rally tomorrow even if DJIA and S&P500 indices close green. Unless of course, congress gets its act together and approves a budget for the US government before the shutdown takes full effect, after which we have a small problem of the debt ceiling, whereby the party that had to compromise on the budget impasse will likely not do so again.
Lots of volatility ahead. That's why I prefer to take a step back for a while, gather my monies by liquidating assets, and going asset shopping. Personally, it is during such periods where it is best to make money, ST and LT wise.

I wonder shortists will help HK to run faster. Last time, 5.4c to 8.5c may be this time 7.3c to 10.4c? Another blur blur question. |

today i got no time to lim kopi...and did not even do one trade.
first of all, I cannot make kopilui from YHM and EMS coz UOB curb the shares. Got fed up ...called Kim eng to open account.. otherwise QiQo for both can easily make 5K today.
then my boss called..and there goes the day...then when I had time to come back to monitor my screen, I see CK scalping shortist liao at HK..so happy..guess they bled badly... and its too late to trade liao on HK.. got errand to do somemore.
Sometimes happy for the katek to short HK...they never learn. HK now is a different animal (a phoenix or dragon) unlike the olden when every short is a winner. Chart is bullish engulfing ..and nice for the uplift to 10cts (hope Dowjones does not disappoint).
