Thanks big mama. Hope ppl don't lose money too. :(
Our money all hard-earned. Next time need to control buying spree when volume up. Keeping in mind this is a punter stock (too many short sellers and contra players at the moment). Wait for the tide to be over. What goes up may come down, what goes down may go up too. Nothing is certain except death and taxes.. Think is good to take reasonable profits .. Like big mama n some other traders. Money in bank is real, better than "so call paper profit" or worst - losses.
It's all abt what entry prices a person is comfortable I guess. Apple is good stock but ppl still losing money if enter at usd$650, or local blue chip SQ at $18. That's why people can't buy stock and ignore what's happening to the stock. Is never easy to make money from the market. Else who needs to work for a living?
Think <3c is a good entry levels. That's what the SSH Edward or placement Joanne and Zaid's prices are.

I understand what you mean and it makes sense. Thanks for sharing cause it allows us to see different perspectives. Just wanted to add 2 points to follow up.

(1) Edward  Lee need not commit more resources to takeover company.  With the existing 10.5% he could single handedly call for EGM to change management.  In fact if you look at the annual report,  even with the management + Zaid Ibrahim stake combined,  he would still win. Plus  many retailers would definitely vote for Edward cause he might help them sell off blumont and pay  dividends out. Chance of success very high.  Question  is why  did he not do that. He would benefit most from the 10c cash value in Blumont, via dividend.
(2) Zaid can't sell his shares yet, locked in by moratorium, I believe until next week, sometime early October. I  am not  active on the forum but so  fascinating the recent interest. Good luck to all and thanks for sharing your ideas. Interesting read.

Bro unique6, please allow a different point of view.
Whilst  Edward Lee may be the biggest shareholder, he is not a member of the board and thus may not know everything there is to know about the strategic direction and operation of the company.
In addition, one cannot surmise that just because he cash out some of his shares, it necessarily means a lack of confidence in the company or that the company is not worth takeover. He may not want to and may not have the means to takeover the company in the first place.
Thirdly, if he did not know how high the stock can go, what makes you think he knows how low it will go, then?
What about the other  large shareholder, Zaid? Did he sell? Remember, he was invited to invest in the company by the directors.  won't that say anything about the relationship between him and the company directors?  If he cash  out (not sure  if he can cos there a  moratorium period, right?), then I would be more worried.
In the end, we will all make our own decisions what to do with our money. Cheers!

Edward Lee is largest shareholder by far 535m shares vs next largest only 350m Zaid. He can't be like ordinary punter because:
(1) he must have influence cause with 10% he could technically call EGM vote out the directors, so selling  out now maybe means it's not even worth it to takeover company and recover money is better than staying on or controlling company
(2) with such a large position, by selling now he knows it will affect his overall position so he must have thought the price really going down significantly for him to take this risk (like run out of cinema on fire before everyone jam the exit)
(3) he invest in so many penny stocks, many he heard from other  BBs that Ipco go trouble or fraud so jump ship
(4) maybe his friends all  sold out first at 4.4c  cause he knows when he sells his personal stake must declare so he let his friends run out first at higher price.
(5) surely he not dumb guy  and sophisticated investor so he knows something we don't. On this forum we all gossip, spread rumours, but in the end actions speaks louder than words. He action is clear. Anyway,  I  only small position, but my cost lower, so dunno what you guys  going to do, but I think better take  profits before profits become losses " quote Warran Buffett" !

Under SGX Listing Manual Rule 703, Blumont is obliged to:
- disclose, confirm, deny or clarify price sensitive information to prevent the build up of false market.
- Unless the agreement and negotiation have yet to be completed. Provided:
- Blumont must maintain high confidentiality about it.
Apparently, Blumont's price surge is most probably due to leakage of confidential info- the company is now investigating its executive team- thus it has the obligation to disclose.

Nevertheless, the 8 folds spike in price remains perplexed to me. Wondering what kind of mineral and energy business Blumont is going into. Turning waste paper into mineral? Or creating energy from air?

Blumont quite naughty.
When SGX previous asked him, he gave the standard answer : " Company is not aware of any information not
previously announced concerning the Company, its subsidiaries or associated companies which might explain the
increase in the share price.  "
When SIAS called to suspend him, he still insisted it is not aware of any information. But....But with some additional information at the end of the announcement this time round.  In this respect, the Company has in recent months been approached by global financial parties, including an international fund management firm, which has expressed interest in investing in the Company by way of a private placement. Discussions are ongoing . Over the past five months, discussions have been held with over 20 additional potential acquisition targets and joint venture partners, the majority of which are listed entities governed by the listing rules of their respective securities stock exchanges and investment laws in countries of operation.
Now we know why Blumont share price surged. The next few questions:Why Blumont refused to disclose these info previously????If Blumont has yet to disclose how come share price surge so much? Possibility of insider?New business operation of   mineral and energy really so lucrative?

Agree wif sifu Iso. The forum is open to anyone who wants to join/post. It's like a "speaker's corner".
As long as one dun scold your father n mother, we can b tolerant of all views/comments.
Most times I read such posts wif amusement. It can be funny because it's so illogical or ridiculous. I dun think anyone would be so stupid as to believe those posts.
We often do stupid things out of fear, greed or ignorance and not because we are stupid. I believe that our fellow forumners are all intelligent people.
So chill, relax, laugh at those posts when you see them because I'm sure you would not dare to post them yourselves, haha.
